June 5th episode
Did anyone else watch it? I thought the first part where they were introducing the contestants was boring as heck. It got more interesting when they had the people prepare something in the kitchen and purposefully made something go wrong to see what the people would do. One had cake icing that was too stiff to spread on the cake, one had frosting that was too runny, one had the wrong words on the teleprompter, etc. They sure handled it better than I would have! I was expecting this to be a cooking competition only but they were also testing their hosting skills and brought up a lot of problems/duties tv hosts have to deal with that I hadn't considered. That was very interesting.

I watched it...I agree the first hour was boring, I was actually doing my work thru that hour :lol: Then I took a break for the 2nd half. I liked the mishaps they were having, they stood up under the pressure very well. I wish they would have kept the one that got eliminated. I think his name was Brock. He teaches culinary arts so it may take him a couple weeks to break out of teacher mode and make it more personal, but at least he knew his stuff. Unlike the heavy set black man...he kept messing up and I didnt think his personality was all that either.

I agree with you, Pepette. The other guy should have been the one to go.
