Immunity challenge I would have jumped for NACHOS!!! I love the chrispy chips, lots of melted cheese, avocado, beans, jalapenos, etc. "Forget the money, give me those NACHOS!! YUM!!
When Jeff said, "PIZZA"!!! Those two women swam like they were in the Olympics swimming for GOLD.
The Chocolate chip cookies had a swarm of surviors swimming towards them as if those cookies were the last ones baked on earth. I hate chocolate chip cookies.
What food would you give up the challenge for if you were told to make a one second decision?
Food was more important than money in this challenge. One lady said she wanted peanut butter but that wasn't presented to them.

Being that hungry. I would have jumped for the pizza. I would have lasted that long, then when they brought out the Pizza with the way it smells.
I`d jump!!

I think they were all pretty cocky about it.... Janu & Coby ....and he just rubbed it in their face while he was eating.

I can't believe Stephani jumped in though. No matter what anyone there would have said to me I would have stayed up there.....she could have been voted off last night.

I wouldn't have jumped for anything less than a steak. Put a t-bone up for grabs and I'd hit that water before you could say A-1.

I was really surprised that Stephanie jumped as well, but like she said, Tom wasn't going anywhere and we don't know if she was maybe starting to have trouble up there? Maybe she knew she wouldn't last much longer and so gave it up for some pizza.
But I loved her honesty at council when Jeff asked her about it.

Her and Caryn got to eat that whole pizza by themselves...they weren't allowed to share....I can't remember who it was but somebody had a look that would kill when he announced that last tidbit.   I think it was Katie
Rubini- 04-15-2005
yeah i think it was Katie too bookie. They were all excited because Jeff told them if nobody jumped than they would all get the pizza. I thought it was strange that Steph jumped too, because she had been close to starving at Ulong, and then had a feast the night before, so she must have been feeling good.
At the same time, she probably felt pretty safe with being a 'swing' vote, and she might not have thought she'd last anyway. Also, it could have been somewhat strategic, why make herself look like such a threat on the first day? Save that for when she feels in big time danger.
I hope she listens to what Coby told her before he was voted off though. That was quite the gift to her, I think he really liked her and believed she deserved to win (he said it in one of his asides to the camera that she deserved to be at the top). As whiny and bitchy as he may have been, everything he said was true; Jen is totally jealous of Steph, and her and Gregg have a secret plan to try and get rid of Tom and Ian.

Same here  Tenderloin, t-bone, sirloin. Whatever*shrugs*
But then again if I were extremely hungry, the donut woulda prolly done it for me!

In a challenge like that, the food value always goes up, from sweets to pizza to that steak dinner!
I was surprised at how many of them jumped in the water just for milk and cookies! I would have held out for something more substantial like that t-bone steak!
I was also surprised that Stephenie jumped in but at least she held out for the pizza!!
LuciBell- 04-15-2005
Stephanie said at tribal council that if she got the boot she would regret for the rest of her life that she got snuffed out just for pizza.
I don't think she had it in her to stay any longer. Plus, Jeff said you only have one second to decide if you want the pizza. So, it was a snap decision where she didn't have time to consider her options. You can't eat money but you can eat food when you are hungrey on an island that doesn't have pizza hanging on their island trees.

I wonder what would have happened had Tom jumped in for pizza as well?
Would there be no immunity then?
Matt- 04-17-2005
Re: Ian I thought it was funny when Ian said he'd take off his clothes for some chocolate and peanut butter and Jeff said nobody wanted to see that.

I thought about that too...I guess that maybe the last one off the block would have won? I don't know. It would have been tricky.
I couldn't believe Stephanie jumped! I thought for sure she was going to win her first immunity challenge!!! i think she could have done it.
slim smurfy- 04-17-2005
If I had been one of the Kuror contestants I don't think I would have jumped so easily for food. They've been eating so well that immunity would have meant more to me. Coby definately should have given a better showing. He should have known that he had burned his bridges that last day. I think Steph made the right choice. She showed that she could stick it out for awhile but knew in the end that Tom probably had a little more will. And after Coby's day, she was pretty safe. So, she showed her strength once again. And to me, Janu showed once again how weak she is. I think she'll be gone soon.
