Diamond, best known as geeky Screech Powers on the 1989-1993 teen comedy series "Saved by the Bell," is selling T-shirts with his photo on them to try to raise $250,000 so he doesn't lose his gray two-story house under a foreclosure order. "If the public didn't care, I as an entertainer wouldn't have been a success," he said. Diamond, 29, is trying to sell nearly 30,000 shirts at $15 or $20 (autographed) each to supplement the income he makes as a standup comic so he doesn't have to move from his Port Washington home, about 25 miles north of Milwaukee. The T-shirt has a photo of Diamond holding a sign that says, "Save My House." The back of the shirt reads, "I paid $15.00 to save Screeech's house." The third "e" was added to get around copyright laws, he said. He's selling the shirts on his Web site: http://www.getdshirts.com. The foreclosure order was filed last month in Ozaukee County Circuit Court. Diamond appeared on Howard Stern's satellite radio show Tuesday to plead his case. "I'm doing great with my comedy, but this is definitely a low point," he said. "Real life comes in and affects you." Diamond doesn't have a listed phone number, and e-mails to the address on his Web site and at an alternative address were not immediately returned Thursday.

I'd buy a shirt with a design made by you, daisy, but I won't be sending a check to this loser. You're right. He should have saved the money he's made from his tv series and if not, he'll either have to get a real job or scale back his spending. Us regular folks have to live off a strict budget all the time so I have no sympathy for celebrities who can't afford to maintain their lavish lifestyles.

funny thing is he HAS another house!!!!

OMG, you people are being too hard on our beloved Screech. Did he not bring you hours of joy and much amusement during his SBTB gig? Let's lighten up here and take up a collection for this accomplished actor.   You know, it really PISSES me off when celebrities go broke or owe the IRS back taxes and other celebrities come to their rescue with benefit concerts and the like. And then there is Joe Blow who lost everything in Katrina and just wants a warm meal and dry bed. Life is fair, ain't it?

Screech quotes from "Saved By The Bell": "Wow, my first Hollywood party. I wonder if the Simpsons are gonna be there?" Mr. Belding: "Class, this is my brother... Rod Belding." Screech: "Wow. A building with two Beldings, one of whom is balding." Yeah that was it. I find it funny that those quotes and others were found under IMDB as "Memorable Quotes from Saved by the Bell (1989)". The show is cheesy, and I would have to say even cheesier than Full House....btw, Full House was my all time favorite show growing up...
