Scott still doesn`t sing like he`s a star. Not by a long shot.

Re: Scott
The fact that Scott is part of the final 5 is a travesty. He should've gone home weeks ago. I seriously don't know what is going on in the heads of the voters. There can't possibly be enough Scott fans out there to jusify him being in the top 3 this week. Are people voting for him as a joke?

I am completely sick of seeing/hearing Scott in this competition. I have heard, however, that there is a group of people who are voting for "the worst singer" just to mess with the results.

... I have heard, however, that there is a group of people who are voting for "the worst singer" just to mess with the results. I actually don't watch this show, but I heard that on the radio this morning so I looked it up. Check out this site: http://www.votefortheworst.com/ American Idol is the most watched television series in the world, but a pattern has emerged that makes the show pretty boring. The producers and judges pick one contestant to "pimp" and this contestant ends up winning, making American Idol less a show where the viewers pick the winner and more a show where the judges and producers get the viewers to vote for who they like. Borrrrrrring. So, here at votefortheworst.com, we have a solution. Help us by voting for the worst that American Idol has to offer. That's right, vote for the bad contestants.

Re: Vote For The Worst
If people are voting for Scott because they think he's the worst and least deserving to win the competition, then the voting system needs to be tweaked to prevent this from happening. These people are making the competition into a joke.

Re: Voting System
Maybe if FOX charged 25 cents for every vote cast, that would keep only the serious voters calling the lines.

I'm a serious voter, but if I had to pay to vote, I just wouldn't do it.

Kitri- 05-03-2005

I'm a serious voter, but if I had to pay to vote, I just wouldn't do it. I'm also a serious voter as well. Maybe if FOX allowed a certain number of votes per household (say five votes) then that would keep people from voting hundreds of times for one person. And even if you have two phone lines and a cell phone, that would still limit you to fifteen votes. God forbid Scott wins because of people actually calling in to vote for the worse contestant, then FOX would seriously have to change the voting system.

Re: Voting System
Maybe FOX can tweak the system a bit by allowing the 3 judges to vote for a contestant each week. And a vote from a judge would be worth 1 million votes. Except for Paula's vote, which would be worth -1 million votes.

Pepette- 05-03-2005

What about having a panel of about about 50 music industry people vote on who goes each week then let the public vote on the final 2?

I like that idea, Pepette.
