Hit Or Miss?
The Apprentice is a big hit. But do you think Martha Stewart's version will follow in its footsteps? Or do you think it'll go the way of Wickedly Perfect and fail? Just because Mark Burnett is attatched to this project doesn't mean it'll be a winner. Rockstar: INXS and The Contender weren't exactly ratings giants.

I don't like Martha Stewart so I'm guessing I won't like her version of the Apprentice as much. I still don't know why they're even calling it the Apprentice. Couldn't they have given her an Apprentice-like show and called it something else? It seems sacrilege to me to ruin the name of a good show like the Apprentice by having it hosted by ex-con Martha. What's next--are they going to have The Amazing Race: Michael Jackson? No, I guess that wouldn't work because then no one would want to get to the finish line to be greeted by him, especially if it was a family version of the show and they had kids with them.

Re: Hit Or Miss
I don't think it'll be as popular as Donald Trump's version. Martha Stewart just doesn't come across as interesting as Trump to me. Trump is what makes the show fun for me. His antics in the boardroom are really entertaining. There are tons of housewives out there that adore Martha Stewart, though. So I guess it could be a hit in some circles. I just don't think there is room nor the interest for two versions of the show for it to become a big hit. I say it'll be a small failure and won't come back for a second season.

I like Martha and hope the show does well but I have a feeling it won't.

I liked it better than Donald's show. Less strident. But still with enough competition to keep it lively. The ruthlessness/braggidocio on the original tends to make me HATE everyone by week 5 and quit watching before the end. I hope that doesn't happen this time.

I havent had a chance to see it yet, I have it taped. Its also on CNBC tonight at 11 so Im gonna arrange my work and try to catch it then. Ive got so many shows taped it isnt funny! Anywho.... I wasnt a fan of Trump either when I watched his first show but I love it. Im not a big Martha fan either but, Trump and Martha really are only a small part of the show if you think about it. They give out the assigment, then conduct the boardroom at the end. I did turn on cbs last night just for a peek during their boardroom or whateve she calls hers, and it did interest me. It looked like they had to rewrite a fairytale or something like that. I think Ill like it...I hope so anyway.

Re: Martha Stewart
This version is too much of a clone of the original. I was hoping for more of something along the lines of Wicketly Perfect. So far, I'm not impressed at all.

I watched...I liked...Ill keep watching.
