Father in Illinois kills daughter and her friend. I am sure by now most people have heard about this monster who killed his daughter and her friend. Second graders! Two beautiful children slaughtered by one of their fathers.
Now the creep admits to it, by recording, by hand written statement, and on video.
There is nothing too bad that can happen to this man, especially after I heard about the details, the gorey details
After hearing his arrest record, I don't know why or how this guy was out of jail. I am sure the prison inmates will make his life a living hell, even the worst of the worst hate people who harm, let alone kill their own child.

The things some people do....
From what I understand....he left them to die.
If this isn't a case for the death penalty, I don't know what is.

I saw a picture of this guy. He's scary looking! My first thought was "Who would have a child with this man??"
I hate hearing about children getting murdered. It just seems worse when it's a child than when the victim is an adult. When it's a family member...I don't have the words to express how wrong that is!

I think it's because you think that maybe the adult had at least some chance to defend himself. A child is defenseless - and looks to adults (especially a parent) for protection.
That's why, I think, it's just so heartbreaking.

When a child is killed it is more tragic because of the vulnerability and innocence that they project. Children don't have the same sense of danger or foreboding that adults do. And when it is some one you know and trust, it is doubling distressing. Most 7 year olds are oblivious to the evil that another person can possess.
I hope his life in prison is a living hell. Cases like these make me favor the death penalty. I know some people won't like me saying that. It was posted in another thread about how it goes against God and the whole thing about not suppose to know know when you are to die. Well, I'm pretty sure that if he left those girls to die, that they knew when they were going to die, so why shouldn't he. He put their lives in his hands, now his life is in the hands of the courts.
In an odd way, I think it is amusing that in prison there is a weird sense of honor among thieves. Sort of like a food chain for killers/criminals, and this guys falls near the bottom. All I can say is, you reap what you sow.
