Episode 11 (11/22)
Since our season started there has been a total of 803lbs lost. We are now down to the final four. Ten contestants have already gone home. The F4 will say good bye to the ranch and step on the scale for a final weigh in before they all go home. But only three will return to compete for the title of The Biggest Loser and $250,000. Andrea tells us she's overcome so much. She says she deserves to be in the final three. Bob enters and is happy to see Andrea still around. Bob shows the four how to make Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal. Can these grown people not heat water and pour it into a bowl with one packet of Oatmeal and stir, they need instruction?!? Bob discusses the importance of a good breakfast to keep you running through the day. Seth acts like he's in heaven with the oatmeal. lpatrick has tried it and it's not all that bad, but did not moan while eating it. Jillian is proud of the transformation the guys have made. We see flashbacks of Matt having trouble and getting cramps while trying to walk up a little hill. Now he's running the thing. And just to one up him, Seth is giving Jillian a piggyback ride as he runs. Bob and the girls are running to the front gate of the ranch and then power walking back. They talk about their first time doing this and laugh that they had to stop six times and rest. Looking at Suzy, you can really see a dramatic change, especially in her face. Jillian knows that Matt struggles with doing the same routines and he needs things to be changed up so he doesn't get bored. Matt's high school coach shows up with one of Matt's best friends. Matt didn't want to wrestle in the past because he was afraid he would fall on someone and really hurt them. He and his friend wrestle and the others enjoy watching. Matt was moved by the look in the eyes of his coach and friend. The four are sitting outside bonding. Matt feels whole again and that seeing his coach was the best thing that has happened since coming to the ranch. Last challenge: Each contestant walks to a safe with their name on it. Inside the safes are bags of quarters equal to the weight they've lost. They must put the bags of quarters in their backpacks, strap them on their backs, and then climb 60ft in the air. The person with the best time wins. The winning contestant will win the quarters equal to their weight loss. The lowest amount is $880 while the largest is close to $2000. Matt waste no time and is first to the top, followed by Seth, Suzy and then Andrea. When they get to the bottom Caroline congratulates Matt on reaching the top first. But he hasn't won yet- Commerical Break. Caroline comes back to remind us that she said the contestant with the best time wins. What she actually means is best time difference. Now the contestants will do it again without the extra weight. Matt is already cussing under his breath. He made it the first time in 42 sec. He's going to have to really move to improve on that. They start again and the order is the same: Matt first, followed by Seth, Suzy and Andrea. Matt comes in fourth with only a 23 second time difference. Andrea wins the challenge and $880 in quarters. It's last chance workout and everyone is giving it their all. It looks like Matt and Seth have put work-out routines together which makes Jillian a very proud hen mother. The girls are really working hard too and this makes Bob flash those pearly whites. It's time for the final weigh in and Caroline reminds us that the contestants have had a love/hate relationship with the scale. The two players that are below the yellow line are up for elimination. Andrea: 176 loses 3lbs 173 (1.70%) Seth: 211 loses 7lbs 204 (3.32%) Suzy: 166 loses 5lbs 161 (3.01%) Matt: 240 loses 10lbs 230 (4.17%) Matt is so excited he kisses the scale, ewwwww! Suzy and Andrea are below the yellow line and are up for elimination. Suzy sneers in a private interview that Seth is her biggest competition. "If I had lost one more pound, I would not have been under the yellow line." We get the weekly montage of the up for elimination contestants. They both deserve final three. They are strong, confident and are going to fight for what they want. Evening falls and it's already time for vote off. Suzy enters in a toile pattern sundress looking very cute. Caroline tells them they all deserve to be here. They are healthier, looking younger and have added years to their lives. Matt: For him, it's been about taking out the biggest threat. Now he's fighting for $250,000, so he needs to keep his biggest competition around. Votes Andrea. Seth: He has had to vote of teammates and friends, being in the final three is an honor. Votes Andrea. Andrea tells us she's leaving the ranch a better wife, mother and several other things I couldn't pick up because she got emotional at this point. She hugs Suzy and leaves. If we want an update on Andrea you have to check it out online. The final three will have a one on one meeting with their trainer to say a good-bye before returning home. Bob greets Suzy with a "Wow." She took his breath away. He wants to introduce her to someone she use to know.... it's a cut-out of her on the first day at the ranch. Suzy covers her face. She says that it's gross to her. She didn't realize she was that big. Bob tells her to forget the game and just live life they've created at the ranch. If any girl can win this Suzy can Bob reassures. Seth greets Jillian who asks, "Do you remember this guy," as she shows him his cut-out. He's filled with laughter and awe. He got to a point that he was feeling sorry for himself. Not only has there been a physical change but an emotional one too. Seth is excited to go home. Matt enters to give Jillian a big hug. As she reveals his cut-out, you guessed it, Matt cries. Jillian exclaims, "WOW." He says he feels sorry for the guy he's looking at. It's time to go home and do it on their own. They will have the support of their friends and family. Seth started at 291lbs and leaves weighing 204lbs, looking so much younger. Suzy started at 227lbs and is leaving at 161lbs. looking like a new woman. Matt came in weighing 339lbs and lost a total of 109lbs to go home at 230lbs, looking like a much happier man. Join us next week for the two hour season finale. We will get to see the contestants that have been voted off and how they are doing now.
