Early favorites or malaria victims
We haven't seen much of some of the contestants but are there any early favorites or ones you'll be rooting to send home? I really like Blake, both his singing and his personality, so I hope he goes far. I'm not into beatboxing so I hope he doesn't get into that in all of his performances. That would get old fast. I don't care for Alaina and don't know how she made it past the Hollywood rounds. The part they showed of her on-stage she was really pitchy. She looks like Mariah Carey and kind of sort of sounds like her but isn't as vocally talented as Mariah. I hope she gets the boot in the first few weeks of the competition. Sanjaya and Sundance seriously need makeovers. They're pretty scruffy looking. Not that that affects their voice but it takes away from their stage presence, IMO. I like Chris a lot. Good voice, great personality so I think he'll be around for quite a while. Not feeling the love for Gina. She's ok but not a standout. That's all I have for now. Maybe after next week I'll have more favorites and least-favorites.
