Did anyone think Survivor would become this big a hit? I know at first some people said it wouldn't last, but I always thought it would be around for awhile. I hope it sticks around for a long long time!

Re: Survivor & American Idol I didn't think it would be a big hit. When I watched the first episode of Survivor I remember thinking it was cheesy and silly and probably wouldn't catch on with the public and wouldn't last more than a season.
I thought the same about American Idol.

It`s funny. I didn`t watch Survivor till the very end. But I was hooked from that moment. Didn`t know about the success of it at the time.
I didn`t like Big brother the first show, but then watched the next because you all were talking about the show.
I didn`t watch American idol till this one, and only a bit till the end.

I don't care all that much for Big Brother either. But I only watch because my wife likes it... and because there isn't much else on in the summer. I don't really get all that interested in it until near the end. Up until then, I'm usually bored with the show. At least this has been the case for me the last couple of seasons. The show has really gone downhill so much the last couple of years.

My favorite Big brother ever was with "Chill town" with boogie, Evil Doctor will, Shannon and the others. That show there never was a dull moment.
