Buh-Bye Geeks I never did warm up to them the way some of you guys did. I was happy to see them go.
Somewhere between the whining and the "Baby" "Okay, Baby" "You got it, Baby?"'s I was beginning to really despise them. Granted they're not the only ones who whine and overuse the "Baby" endearment *gag* I even heard one of the Fran & Barry's say "Baby" last night, but I'll happily say buh-bye to the other's that use it, too.
I've been with dh for going on 17 years now, and if either of us ever called the other "baby" I believe the other would crumple into a fit of hysterical laughter, and then sternly warn the offender to never, never use that as an endearment agin...

That's funny! We never use that term, either.
But you're still evil for not liking the Nerds.

I've never heard my parents call each other "baby" either. I can't remember if my sister and her husband use it. I think they might call each other "babe" sometimes.

They said "I love you" at the weirdest times.
"ahhh, this fish stinks"
"i know. but i love you"

How about at the detour when David was going to do the water polo thing and Lori told him "May the Force be with you". I was like . How geeky can you be? That's too much even for me.

Hubby and I do call each other Baby, although it's our least used endearment. We use Darling, Sweetheart, Sweetie, and Honey much more. We use endearments much more than we use each other's names. We talked about that once. Hubby thought it would be weird if I called him by name all the time. I must admit that I also prefer the endearments (from him - not from people in general) to my name.

Re: Geeks Actually, these two weren't all that geeky. I mean, where were all the geek references? Heck, neither of the two wore a comic book or Star Wars t-shirt that I noticed.
And they called themselves geeks? Sheesh.
My wife and I are far bigger geeks. We could outgeek those two any day of the week.

Technically, they were "Dating Nerds", not geeks.

Re: Nerds vs. Geeks Ah-ha, now it all makes sense. Thanks, Brad.
