Big Brother Pool Rules: Overview - After the announcement of who the 20 potential houseguests are, on June 21st, each player will choose a team of 5 houseguests. On the July 6th live show the BB-All Stars cast will be chosen. After which all Pool members may make adjustments to their lists, at no penalty for 48 hours. Team adjustments after 48 hours from then will cost points, which will fluctuate from week to week. Pool members will earn points based on their team members' performance in the House. The pool player with the most points at the end of the BB-All Stars' season will be declared the winner of the Reality Island Big Brother All-Stars Pool and will receive the Reality Island prize package! How to Play, Details: After the June 21st Intro show- PM a list of 5 houseguests (HG's) to Jayusmagnus before 12:01am July 6th. LATE ENTRIES will receive NO CREDIT for the first episode. Except for Rufus who will have an evil team appointed for her due to a worrisome child. After the first live show on July 6th, pool players may make changes to their pool teams for 48 hours without penalty. Also, players must choose a team Captain, who will earn their teams double points. AFTER 48 hours, there will be a cost to make changes to your pool team, the cost fluctuating from player to player and week to week depending on strength and vulnerablity in the House. Strong players, players with stong alliances, and sneaky players will cost more. Weak players, players with weak or no alliances, incredibly annoying players, or strong players in serious jeopardy will cost less. The reasons behind this should be obvious. You cannot change team captains without paying a cost. Meaning you can't willy-nilly swap your captain for another team member. Swapping a current team member out for your captain will cost the amount of the player becoming your team captain. HOWEVER, if your team captain is evicted from the house, you may replace them with another team member at no cost, if you are paying to pick up a replacement for your team. Players do NOT have to carry 5 players after the first week if they do not want to pay the cost to pick up a replacement. You may also play without a captain, but will have no double points contestant. Points will be tabulated after the eviction show each week, and a current cost list posted whenever there is a new Head of Household chosen...or when twists occur (example - America's Choice adding a player back to the house would have affected the cost list). After the last show, final points will be posted with the winner receiving the secret Reality Island prize package. (no, you can't know what's in the prize package...its a secret!) Points: Each team will consist of 5 members with one chosen as team captain who will receive double points. Points will be earned as follows: 5 points - Chosen to be a houseguest 2 points - each day spent in the house 5 points - food challenge winner/success by indvidual for group food challenge 5 points - Uses Veto 10 points - Veto winner 10 points - individual challenge winners/group challange winners (non-food challanges) 25 points - HOH winner 5 points - jury member 10 points - finalist -5 points - nominated for eviction -2 points - each vote cast against for eviction -25 points - removed from the house for any reason other than eviction Questions????? Do I have to read the rules if I want to play? Can't someone just hold my hand and tell me step by step what to do?

Pfft. The only rule you need to know is when you have to pick your team. Of course, I generally end up towards the bottom of every pool I participate in, so you may not want to listen to my advice.

I feel your pain, Jay. Nobody reads instructions so sometimes you feel like you're beating your head against a wall when you're trying to run any game or contest. :lol: Now how many people do I need to choose for my team, and is that including the captain or not? :wink:

I understood the rules and instructions perfectly Jayby. You did a wonderful job of explaining them. As a matter of fact, Ive never understood any ruled or instructions more than I understand yours. Your rules and instructions are truly works of art that anyone can understand. I adore them! I wish there were more of them to adore Now can we talk bonus points...sweety? :grin:
