Ok, I had to jump on board for Harry Potter Week.
The boyfriend and I are taking Liv to see it on Thanksgiving weekend. I can't wait!!!

Pepette, you need to get on board and read at least the first book, the Sorceror's Stone. It was great! I wasn't familiar with the stories when I went to the first movie but I liked the movie so much, I went out and got the first three books in the series (all that were out at that point). J.K. Rowling really has a wonderful imagination and sense of humor.

Unless Harry falls in love and there is some heavy breathing going on at Hogsville Castle, I dont think Ill be reading it.
Are we going with the Thanksgiving theme next week? 'Cuz I am

I've never cracked open one of the books. I think we saw part of one of the movies when it came out on regular TV. Harry rode a broomstick in some kind of magical polo game. I don't remember anything else. :: shrug ::

J.K. Rowling really has a wonderful imagination and sense of humor.Yes, she does. Unfortunately, most of the humor gets lost in the movies. I read the novels aloud to my daughters. Frequently, I have to pause and wait for their laughter to die down before continuing. They don't laugh as much watching the movies.

Might as well start on theme ideas for Friday.
How about snow and ice? That could include snowflakes, ice skating, snowmen, icicles, etc.
Or we could go the other direction and think heat--fireplaces, volcanos, firebreathing dragons ( ).
Christmas cookies or Christmas candy.
Christmas movies.
Our interpretation of Santa's reindeer (a picture of Haley's comet for Comet, a picture of Fred Astaire for Dancer, etc).
Or just plain reindeer.

LMAO @ Pepette's avatar.

Alrighty, then. Since nobody has chimed in about avatar themes, I guess this week is pikachu's choice. I'm going to do Christmas tree ornaments as the theme. It wasn't on my previous list of suggestions. I just thought of it this morning.
