You Canadians will have to keep me informed of your major holidays. Most Canadian holidays don't appear on my American calendar so I don't know about them.

I found so many images I really liked, but luckily, most were too big, so I had help making up my mind on which one to use.
I need to get some flowers for my dad's grave this weekend. I can never find anything I really like though.

Pish-tosh! Why not give a cheer to Her Majesty this week? It could be Memorial Day (US)/Queen's Birthday (Canada) Week! And poor Pandora will just have to make do! :wink: (I don't know of any other nationalities floating around out there!)
In fact...I am going to change my sig line in Honor of Her Majesty. Queen Elizabeth has been a lovely, stalwart monarch for a half a century. Despite her family's problems, I think she's done well. And I am a bit of an Anglophile, so....Cheers to Her Majesty, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith! :grin:

Actually it was Queen Vic's b-day... hence "Victoria Day" ... but in the UK.. the Queen's birthday is celebrated in June. Which is really when Queen Liz's b-day is. Clear as mud?? LOL

I could almost go for having two avatar themes per week. I get bored with mine so quickly! :oops: I can always change mine to something else that fits the theme within the week, though.
So I guess we'll go back and do favorite sitcom characters this coming week, huh? That's a bit difficult for me because I have plenty of favorite shows but not so much a favorite character on the shows. Sitcoms work best because of the play between the characters, not usually because one person pulls the whole show off, IMO.
