The pot pie I had growing up was frozen. Not that there's anything wrong with that! I used to like to make one of the beef pot pie and one of the macaroni and mix them together.

My grandma made the best roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes. My mom never made it nearly as good as my grandma so I used to look forward to visiting my grandma and having her make it for me. One annoying thing, though, was she'd usually make it the last day I was visiting. I would have preferred her to make it early in my visit so I could be eating leftovers of it while I was there!
