Big Brother: All Stars, August 8 Live Feeds – The Haunting of the Big Brother House by Joel Hardy -- 08/09/2006 There is a whole lot of love going around the house. Janelle and Will are playing cute with each other, and Mike is putting the moves on Erika. Kaysar though, is getting no love from George and Erika. Also, who comes back to “haunt” the houseguests? Warning: This article contains spoiler information! Good morning, houseguests! It’s a bit different this morning as James of all people is up first. He goes to the storage room for a little while, comes out, and goes to the bathroom for an extended amount of time. Mike is up next, and I think he is taking Danielle’s place as the early riser of the house. He does his morning bathroom routine, and then goes and stares at the memory wall, to reflect, I assume. Danielle arises, sees Mike, and beckons him into the storage room. Not much is said, really. Danielle assures Mike that things are going well, and that James is the mole in the season six camp and she is the mole in the floater camp. Soon enough though, they head out to the kitchen and talk about what kind of HOH competition they might be facing this Thursday. They eventually move on to the living room and start ragging on Marcellas. Mike says that he really enjoys his company when he is cool, and hates the way he brings everyone down. Danielle says that he cannot be trusted. He put his own friend up for eviction. She goes on to say that what he did to Amy that season, he is doing to Janelle this season. He flips and flops too much, can’t remember what he does from one moment to the next, and therefore cannot be trusted. She starts explaining to Mike why she did not put up Howie. As we saw during the veto ceremony, she said that she promised on her kids that she would not put up Howie, and she wanted to honor that. I really do respect that. Talk moves to Kayar and how they think he lied to Erika last night when he told her that he worked hard to get the votes to save her, and that he hopes that she returns the favor. They wonder why Kayar had to campaign for Erika if she was only the pawn that season six claimed she was. Either he is lying, or there was dissent in the season six camp and Kaysar had to fight to keep Erika. What do you think? Danielle says that George has promised to vote out Kaysar, and she believes him. She knows that Chill Town will vote to evict Kaysar, and the vote will most likely be 5-1, but she does not want Chill Town talking about their votes to the float heard, because if the vote is not 5-1, then she will know that there is a rift in the float heard. James joins them outside and expresses his thoughts on Janelle. More specifically how stupid she is and he cannot believe how she got so far last year. Danielle says that she knew right away that it was Will who cast the lone vote for Diane last week. Mike tells her that Will did not tell him about that before the fact, and agrees that he cannot do it again. James tells Danielle that Mike and Will really need to step up. He indicates that Mike really hates Janelle, which is a good thing. Danielle says that Kaysar came up to her and asked her what she would do in the case of a tie. She just told him to “expect the unexpected.” James laughs and says that they are running scared now. A lot of talk goes on about Janelle and her job from these three. I will spare you the details as this is a family website, but let’s just say that they do not think too favorably on Janelle or her “job,” and yes, they actually use the quotes. Talk moves to Howie. They all agree that he is weird, but has a good heart, but Danielle adds that he does have fire in him and he can get mad when he wants to. James agrees, saying he is looking for someone to go Busto on. Danielle says that he better not try it on her! Danielle would eat him alive. Actually, that would be fun to watch! Will joins the three outside. Danielle tells them not to reveal their votes, and Will says that Janelle and Howie have not approached them about votes. James takes this to mean that they think he is going. Will asks Danielle what George will do. She tells him that he is voting to evict Kaysar, and when Will asks her how she knows this, she responds it is because she told him to. James chimes in again to say that he is been sowing the Janelle hatred to Erika for a few weeks now. He has not been lying to her, just using Janelle’s words against her. George joins them outside and talk turns to the “video” they put on yesterday. Danielle thinks it was hilarious and that it will make good TV. George’s words of wisdom: “That was the weirdest marching band I have ever seen!” George has cut himself shaving pretty badly. He is pressing a towel to his face when James comes by and expresses concern. He needs some Neosporin and other assorted medical supplies. He goes off to get them. Will happens by and gives his medical opinion of the situation. He tells George to press the towel to his face hard for thirty seconds. He does so, and James returns with the medical supplies. The crisis has passed, George will live another day. Danielle is cooking in the kitchen and Will asks if he can help her. She says no, because he is useless in that department and she shoos him out. James complains to Marcellas about the active campaigning against him. Marcellas says that he cannot believe it, but then wait, he can. James just states that he is expendable. There is an outside lockdown, and Big Brother has a bit of trouble getting everyone outside. Janelle talks to Will while he lifts weights. She asks him if he is going to try for HOH this week, and he tells her yes, because it’s on now, since he didn’t get kicked out before sequester like he wanted. Mike starts making comments about Will and Janelle sitting in a tree. Its official now, Mike is five years old. Will counters that he and Janelle are just friends, despite the fact that he passed her a note through James that asked her if she liked him, and to check yes, no, or maybe. Will thinks that they should let a kid come into the house. They would promise not to do or say anything offensive around it, and they would also promise not to leave it alone with Howie. That poor kid would be scarred for life. Erika is by the pool, looking for something to weigh herself down with so George doesn’t use her as a float. There is general complaining about the long lockdown. What could they be doing in there? Janelle and Kaysar are sitting by the pool, talking strategy, who they have talked to, who is voting for them, etc. Kaysar is starting to come to terms with the fact that he might be leaving. He says that he did all he could do, and if he leaves, he leaves; there is nothing he can do about it. He will try talking to George again tonight. Janelle asks if they should talk to James, and if so, what should they say? Janelle says that if it is just her and Howie, then they are screwed. Janelle disagrees. Marcellas is in a funk, not speaking to anyone. He thinks that he is above all of this and states that if he knew he would have been in sequester with these people, he would have just told Big Brother to give him the money now. He continues to whine and pout while covering his face with his hoodie. Shoot to the HOH room where Danielle is telling Erika not to make any deals with Marcellas, because he will break them in a heartbeat. Speaking of the devil, he comes right in and Danielle has to shut up. Howie and Janelle are talking now. Howie says that he has to vote James out. He thinks that even though Danielle put James up, she intends to keep him here. She just wanted to scare him to her side. Well, he has that half right. Janelle says that she trusts Chill Town more than James. She admits to Howie that she cannot play for veto next week, and makes him promise not to tell anyone. Kaysar joins them and states the obvious when he says that she or Howie have to win HOH next week. Howie is thinking positively. He says that he won both HOH competitions after Kaysar left last year, and then he looks at Kaysar and apologizes. He states that they need to get rid of Danielle, as she is the leader of the floater herd. Howie starts giving Janelle a good pep talk, telling her that she is the leader of this alliance and that they are depending on her. Kaysar admits that he is probably going home if he cannot swing the votes. This was a really bad week for James to get that null vote, I am thinking (well, bad for Kaysar, good for James). Janelle says that she will talk to Chill Town when she can get Will alone. Later, James and Kaysar are talking in the backyard. James asks Kaysar if the floater herd is an alliance now. Kaysar confirms that they have been for some time now. James says that they cannot be an alliance unless they have a cool name. He suggests the furniture alliance since they sit around so much. Any suggestions out there for a float herd name? Let me know. He then goes on to say that it was stupid for Kaysar not to play for veto. He would not have had to use it, but it would have kept him safe. Kaysar says keeping Marcellas over him is a really bad move. Howie says he is over the whole quasi-celebrity thing, signing autographs and such. James just stares off into space. James tells season six to lie to the floaters, tell them whatever they want to hear. Now Janelle is bashing Howie to Mike. She says that he is dead weight and that they carried him last season. She adds that he only won the HOH competitions that he did because they were thrown to him. I think she is doing this to make herself seem more alone, to distance herself. Janelle might not be a dumb as she looks. Howie is outside with George. George just told him to watch out for the boys, and Howie says that he is aware of that. George says that Will knows that if he is in the final two, no one is going to give him the money, so he is just here to mix things up. Howie says that he is not going to let that happen. Will is telling Janelle that if her boyfriend dumps her when the game ends, he will date her. She tells him that she would not date him outside of the show. He puts on a pathetic looking sad face and she changes her mind and says that she would date him. Now that’s a scary thought. What would their kids look like? Shudder. James and Danielle are talking as they always do. Danielle says that you cannot tell people to do what is best for you in the game. Everyone has a right to form their own alliances and such. Now correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t this the same Danielle that was upset on the show Tuesday night when her alliance didn’t do what she wanted and go for the veto so Janelle wouldn’t get it? I’m just asking. James asks if Erika is switching. Danielle asks him if Erika was the target the entire time last week, and James answers that it was always Diane. Danielle, continuing her questioning of James, asks if Janelle admitted to not being able to play for veto next week, and James says that she is just trying to sweep it under the rug. Janelle and Will decide to have a night of banana splits, doing each others nails, and talking about their boyfriends… in pajamas no less. Kill. Me. Now. Marcellas hears about this and naturally wants to join in. Janelle starts to bake some cookies, but before, she writes “Will” in one of them. I need an insulin shot just writing this. Erika just screamed that Alison was there! She says she saw her reflection in a mirror holding a flashlight under her face. Either Erika is hallucinating, or Big Brother is screwing with them. I am leaning toward the former. When was the last time Erika ate something? Howie looks in every mirror to try and calm down, but he doesn’t help when he starts going through the house flicking lights off and on mumbling that someone is coming back. Sometimes, I love Howie. Erika is seriously freaking out. She says that she wants to go home. She says she will never look in another mirror or window again. She says she is about five minutes from eating a turkey sandwich and not really caring about what happens. Will, of course, looks up from painting his nails with Janelle and encourages her. Okay, something is going on here. Now Jase’s face has appeared in a window, but no one sees him. Mike happens to mention to someone that it would be odd if Jase’s face appeared. Keep in mind that no one has seen it yet. James comes in and announces that he saw Jase’s suitcase in the storage room. Erika starts running around the house screaming that she hates horror movies. Now Diane’s face appears in a bathroom mirror, but again, no one notices. Alison tries to ambush Janelle from a hall mirror, but she doesn’t notice. The Alison face actually mouths something to the effect of “she didn’t notice.” Someone is seen being escorted by a Big Brother staff member through the bathroom hallway behind the wall, being told to be quiet. Finally, Jase gets noticed in a bedroom mirror by Erika, Mike, and Janelle. They, of course, freak. Everyone is on edge over all of these sightings, though Marcellas is strangely calm and Will refuses to look. Does he know something that the others don’t? He did disappear for awhile and no one knew where he was. Someone mentions that Bunky’s face also appeared, but they are not believed. Mike tells Erika that he screamed when he saw the face. He is not going to even lie, he admits to being a wimp. No argument here. Kaysar and George are in the backyard talking strategy. Kaysar tells George that the floaters were using him as a scapegoat so they would get a free week, and season six called them out on it, it was nothing personal against George. George admits that he has never played the game like this before. Kaysar says that Erika told him once that she will win an HOH completion when she had to. Basically, what Kaysar is trying to tell George is that Chill Town has been throwing competitions and making season six seem like heroes. George cannot believe that Chill Town would not clue him in on anything. He adds that Will is the strongest player ever and that he needs to be stopped. He starts to get testy, wondering why no one ever talked to him before. I think he is starting to see through Kaysar. Kaysar is trying to calm him down, but George is not biting. Erika and Mike are cuddling together in one of the bedrooms. He has her arm around her in the dark, and soon starts inching towards her. He tells her that they have to go everywhere together tomorrow. She tells him to stop scaring her. There has been another sighting. This time it looks like Hardy. Janelle and Howie are doing hygiene things in the bathroom, when Howie suddenly says that he hates all floaters. He says he wants to go home, and he sounds like he means it this time. Janelle says she wants to go home if someone were to come back into the house. Erika calls Kaysar out on the whole pawn thing from last week. Asking him if she was supposed to be a pawn, why did he have to campaign so hard for her? The question catches Kaysar by surprise. He stammers something, and apparently, his answer is not good enough for Erika. Things do not look good for Kaysar right now. Everyone is starting to bed down for the night. Janelle tries to sleep, but cannot since she keeps thinking of the faces. She wonders again if someone is coming back into the house. Talk of a lockout tomorrow, saying that it starts at 8 am. I am really glad to hear that. That means that they have to be up early and thus in bed early, which makes my recapping job a heck of a lot easier. Eventually, everyone goes to bed except Janelle and Kaysar, who stay up a bit longer, talking strategy. Much of it is stuff that we already know, so I will not re-warm it. Before I end the recap, I want to answer a question that a reader e-mailed me. She asked what purpose the flames serve. The flames suddenly appear for apparently no reason, but the powers that be at Big Brother use them to block anything that they do not want us to see or hear. For instance, when someone starts singing a song that they do not have permission to use, or when someone starts talking about a person who has not signed a release. I hope that answers your question. Goodnight, houseguests! So, to summarize: -Janelle and Will have a pseudo kind of flirtation going -Mike thinks he has something going with Erika, but I think she is just humoring him. -The Big Brother house is haunted -Kaysar got caught in a lie by Erika, of all people, and hurt his chances of staying in the house but trying to cover it up. He also messed things up with George to a degree. http://www.realitynewsonline.com/cgi-bin/ae.pl?mode=4&article=article6335.art&page=1
