August 25 live feeds Big Brother: All-Stars, August 25 Live Feeds – Let Me Tell You About the Birds and the Bees and the Two Nominees...
by Jeffrey Clinard -- 08/27/2006
The houseguests are happy for a change. They had a competition where they could win food, luxuries, or both, and they all had a good time. What did they win? Who did Erika (right) nominate? And what is making the houseguests jump for joy? Warning: This article contains spoiler information!
Good morning, houseguests!
Several houseguests get up and go back to bed after eating, using the facilities, or walking about. Mike Boogie finally gets up and does some work on the treadmill, and Big Brother finally gets everybody up for the day. They have a food competition, which Danielle says is supposed to be “fun” according to Big Brother. Feeds go to fire, and when they return, the six houseguests are dressed in funny costumes. Mike Boogie and Dr. Will are dressed in bee costumes, Danielle and Janelle are dressed as birds, and Erika and Chicken George are in form-fitting flower outfits.
The food contest requires that the house work together. The birds and the bees have to gather nectar, which appears to be either from the pool or something above it reached by a ramp. Then they have to pollinate the flowers. The flowers have to get the nectar into containers. There appears to be eight of them, some representing food and others representing luxuries. One is a Christmas in August, another is a one-week slop pass for Chicken George, and yet another is a trampoline that Dr. Will wanted. They only have five minutes to fill up as many containers as they can.
Feeds go to fire for the competition. Afterwards, the houseguests are on outdoor lockdown but say it was a fun competition. Chicken George got his slop pass, and the house won a Christmas in August, a trampoline, and a five-star meal. They appear to be on slop for only two days, but the only food items they won were meats and alcohol. They mill about and talk about the competition. Mike Boogie and Dr. Will think they could have won everything if they had one more round of nectar gathering. Erika has taken off the petals of her costume, but still is in a form-fitting bodysuit. Dr. Will loves the idea of a trampoline. So do I. Big Brother, please take a page out of The Man Show and promise us that each episode of Big Brother will end with girls jumping on trampolines!
Lockdown ends, and the houseguests go off to shower, though Chicken George grabs the first Diet Coke he sees first. Some start singing “Live and Let Die” before the fire interrupts them. Erika runs around in her green bodysuit some more. Dr. Will and Mike Boogie talk, with Mike Boogie saying he is pretty sure he can keep Erika from nominating him, but not Janelle. They go up to talk to Erika, and want to keep Janelle from winning the veto so she’ll be evicted. Next week they’ll go after Danielle and Chicken George. They discuss splitting the entire pool of money, including the winner/runner-up prizes, the cash Chill Town has won in competitions, and the sequestration money. It will be about $190,000 each.
They talk about possible nominations next week. Dr. Will is afraid Danielle will put up Dr. Will and Mike Boogie. Erika thinks she will put up Chicken George. They go through various scenarios, but none of them seem to consider that Chicken George might win HOH. Dr. Will continues to work his magic, saying she can win against anybody in the finals, though Erika doesn’t think she can beat Danielle. Danielle joins them and they all laugh about the food competition. To get the nectar out of the birds and the bees, they had to press against each other. Chicken George apparently really wanted to win and crushed some of them. Danielle thought he might rupture her implants, and they all laugh at Chicken George being on top of Janelle. Danielle says she asked Big Brother to provide Chicken George with a Santa outfit for their Christmas in August.
Janelle and Chicken George have their own conversations. Janelle is convinced James was a pawn before, and that he was working with “them” when he took the prizes in the graveyard veto competition. She asks him about promising Kaysar a vote to save him, but Chicken George says that isn’t true. Janelle says she likes James, but he is shady. Chicken George laughs. They both agree that Marcellas didn’t deserve to go out with a unanimous vote. Chicken George says some people don’t act rationally in the house, such as when Howie exploded after being evicted. Chicken George tells her that she’s a great competitor, and he tells her she can do anything with her gifts, even being a brain surgeon. Janelle is called to the diary room.
Danielle and Erika talk, with Danielle talking about alliances and her preference to not get involved with volunteer work at her kid’s school Dr. Will comes up with bowl of slop (they apparently are on slop for the day, except Chicken George and Erika. Chicken George enjoyed a steak earlier). Erika leaves and Dr. Will asks Danielle about the nominations and replacements. They seem to be Janelle and Chicken George. If Janelle wins veto, then Dr. Will goes up, but Chicken George goes home. Dr. Will and Danielle discuss James and why he had to go last week. Erika returns and makes her bed so the room looks nice when she puts the keys into the box.
Feeds go to fire. They come back only in flashes for a bit, but the end result is that Erika has nominated Chicken George and Janelle. Unlike some nominees, Chicken George isn’t upset. He talks to Erika in the HOH bedroom and says she did well. He doesn’t mind being nominated.
Elsewhere, Danielle is more worried… about Chicken George. She says nobody knows what he’ll do. You know, she’s right. Erika asks if she’ll vote out Chicken George over Janelle, but she says no. Elsewhere, Mike Boogie and Janelle chat, with Janelle saying Danielle needs to go because she’s too controlling. He says they can’t let Chicken George or Danielle win the veto, otherwise Dr. Will will go up. Dr. Will joins them, and they all say they need to win HOH next week. Dr. Will says they have to be quieter, since he overhead Chicken George saying something about how Chill Town is still in the house. You know, Chicken George might be in the Monkees while the rest of the house is in the Beatles, but he has unerringly noted that Dr. Will is the best player, and has noticed that Chill Town is still in the house.
Chicken George has a chocolate bar (ah, the joys of not being on slop) and Erika offers him some of her homemade cookies. The houseguests all ponder their Christmas in August. I hope they all get some nice presents, myself. Erika wants to see the video of the food competition. Everybody agrees it was a fun one, and think it will be funny to watch. Chicken George thinks Howie would have been great at the competition, and Mike Boogie agrees. Dr. Will says Howie would also be good at beating Mike Boogie’s ass, and that is why they had to get rid of him. The indoor lockdown ends, and in the backyard is a trampoline, complete with safety net around it.
The houseguests go out and start using it. Dr. Will clears the netting at one point. Erika and Janelle jump on it. Oh, yeah. Chicken George has a go, and Mike Boogie joins him, but Danielle says that’s too much weight. Eventually they go off to play cards or use the pool. Chicken George and Danielle talk, with Chicken George noting the money went up from his season, particularly the sequestration cash. He thinks he should shake her hand because she was responsible for the sequestration house.
The houseguests talk about going off slop at midnight and can’t wait. Chicken George suggests they try 29 days of slop. Dr. Will makes salsa soup. Danielle and Dr. Will think about making steak and eggs once the food restriction is over.
Janelle goes to bed early, but Dr. Will talks to her about the veto. Food arrives, including wine, shrimp, and chicken wings. Danielle cooks the shrimp while Dr. Will and Mike Boogie make chicken wings. Chicken George overcooks the fish on the BBQ. They talk about Survivor and how Jenna and Heidi took off their clothes for chocolate and peanut butter (they also got cola in the deal).
Dr. Will and Mike Boogie plot some more, particularly on getting Danielle on the block if Janelle wins the veto. Mike Boogie goes off to the HOH bedroom, and he and Erika get into bed together and they talk about backdooring Danielle. They do some kissing and talk some more about getting to the end together.
Danielle and Dr. Will talk, with Dr. Will talking about how Jase, James, and Marcellas came into Big Brother: All Stars for revenge. He notes that Marcellas has allowed his mistake in Big Brother 3 to consume his life (that would be his not using the golden veto to save himself, which got him thrown into the Reality TV Hall of Shame). They do some more Marcellas bashing.
Eventually the houseguests all go to bed. As the credits roll on this live feed recap, the background video plays of Erika jumping on a trampoline. Sorry, couldn’t resist. Good night, houseguests.
Summary: Everybody had fun with the food competition, though they had to decide between luxuries and food. Chicken George got another weeklong slop pass, the house got a trampoline, and the houseguests will get Christmas in August at some point. They only have meat and alcohol on the days they are off slop. Janelle and Chicken George were nominated.
