Big Brother: All Stars, August 14 Live Feeds – The Load on Janelle’s Shoulders by Joel Hardy -- 08/15/2006 Janelle has it coming to her from all directions. If she has to replace a nomination today, she has no shortage of “advice” from more than a few of her fellow houseguests. And if the veto is used, which houseguest is in for a total shock? All of that, plus the usual Big Brother staples of wine, pizza, and cake throwing. Warning: This article contains spoiler information! After the drunken antics last night, it’s really no surprise that no one is up early. What is a surprise is that Danielle is up first, seeing as though she was one of the drunker ones the night before. She makes some coffee, pours a cup, and then goes into the living room to drink it and stare into it for a bit. In the HOH bed, Mike rolls around to put the headphones on. Erika shifts so she can move backwards into him and then puts her arm around him. I guess she has forgiven him for last night. Eventually, she awakes and joins Danielle on the couch in the living room. Danielle tells her that her word is good in this game. Talk turns to the appearance of the Grim Reaper yesterday and how he pointed at Danielle. She thinks it was Roddy. Mike wants to schedule a meeting with Danielle and James. They are concerned for Chill Town’s safety if Marcellas goes up and stays in the house. Erika gets up and leaves, and when she does, Mike says that at first he thought that Erika was playing him, but now he thinks that she has real feeling for him. He suddenly changes the subject when his beloved, Erika comes back outside. Big Brother announces that the veto ceremony is in two hours. While waiting for this event, everyone just does the mundane things, such as laundry and, in Erika’s case, taking showers. George tries to brush the slop out of his teeth. Will and George are talking on the sofa. Will personally guarantees that George will be here next week. George says thank you, but he knows how things can change suddenly. Will says to just trust him, he is solid. Will is telling James that it’s still between George and Marcellas to go up. He says that they are mad at James, but are not going to put him up. James says that they are just mad because he called Janelle out on all the stuff she has done. James says that Marcellas told him last night that if he gets HOH, he is putting up Chill Town. Mike says that Marcellas really needs to go and James says that Janelle will not be convinced. They decide to lay in wait for Janelle outside of the HOH bedroom, figuring that she has to come out sometime to do her makeup. Did they forget that she has a bathroom in there? (Assistant Editor’s Note: She may prefer to do her makeup in natural light, many women do.) Elsewhere, Danielle and Marcellas are talking. Marcellas tells her that he fought hard last night, and it sounds as thought George might be the replacement nominee. Erika comes out to break up the conversation, but what else is new? Marcellas asks Erika what she did last night, knowing full well what she did, but Erika says that she just got drunk and passed out. No one believes her, and who can blame them? Janelle bets her lucky poker chip to Marcellas that he isn’t going home, she reassures him over and over. He advises her not to trust Chill Town and then heads off to the diary room. Will is in the bug room whispering to James that they will vote out Erika, in good faith. Up in the HOH room, Howie is in the toilet talking to Janelle through the door. Howie tells her that if Marcellas is nominated this week, Danielle will sell out Marcellas for Erika, and that it will divide them. Janelle just listens while using her trowel to apply makeup. She does pause long enough to inform Howie that putting up Marcellas is good for Chill Town, not for her. Egad! The girl does have some brains in her head! Will, James, and Mike are chatting in the living room. Mike and Will realize that if they get out Erika, Marcellas, and Janelle in the next few weeks, It will only be them (the legion of doom), Howie and George left. They then go on to debate what this new power is and when it can be used. Janelle arrives, so talk of ousting her stops. Will says that maybe the power is an instant HOH with two nominations. Bingo! We have a winner! Janelle looks upset, and Will says that he hates to see her that way. Liar! Janelle just says that she hates it when people force her into things. Will just blathers on that she is doing the right thing; she is in a horrible alliance, etc. We go to flames for the veto ceremony, and when we come back, we find George in shock. Is it because he was nominated? No, it’s because he was not. Janelle apologizes to him for telling him that she was going to put him up and then not doing it. He is more than ready to forgive her for this. Howie jokes that Janelle broke a promise to George and George is not taking it well. Will pats his shoulder and Howie kisses his cheek and everyone is happy. Well, everyone except for Marcellas who was nominated. Marcellas, Danielle, and Erika are sitting in the red room. Marcellas says that he knew he shouldn’t have tried to make a deal with Janelle. He just throws up his hands and says that they cannot be beat, and he is tired of trying. Danielle commiserates. Erika leaves and returns with some liquid refreshment for them all. He moves on to trash George, saying that George is distancing himself from them now. Danielle adds that “he is a good actor though.” Marcellas says that he has been backstabbed, as well as drawn and quartered. Erika says that the game is starting to get to her and that she has a headache now. Marcellas mentions that there is only one person in the house who has not been nominated yet (Howie), and that he will work his butt off on the jury to make sure that Erika or Danielle get the money. It sounds like he has given up already, but then again, Marcellas has been known to get dramatic from time to time. In the bedroom, Janelle thinks that Mike or Will can win the next HOH competition. Mike agrees and says that the floaters need to go. Janelle starts talking about Erika and how she was pissed at her and Howie and how they “woke up a sleeping giant.” They do not seem too concerned about this, or the least bit threatened. Marcellas says to Janelle that he didn’t tell Danielle or Erika that he knows that he is safe, that Erika thinks that she is safe because she did the shower scene and that she slept with Mike in the HOH bedroom. Janelle tells him that she thinks that they can trust Chill Town, but Marcellas is not so sure, Mike has this new power (or so they think), and he was very close to wining HOH last time. Marcellas says that told Erika that he did not make a deal with Janelle to stay up. Janelle tells him not to tell Erika, and he says that he will not tell anyone. Janelle just shrugs, and gets up to leave, saying that she doesn’t want to make anyone suspicious by talking to Marcellas too long. Elsewhere, Danielle is talking to James and Mike about keeping Erika. They also worry about keeping James in Janelle’s good graces. Mike says that no one is going after him now that he has the power. I think Big Brother told him that he has it now, that’s what everyone is acting like. He leaves to start chipping away at people. Later, Mike tells James and Janelle that James owes Janelle now, since she put up Marcellas, but James corrects him and says that it’s Will who owes her, not him. Mike talks about how Will worked her and got Marcellas on the block. Danielle doesn’t care, she is down for whatever. Mike comes up with the brilliant idea to get certain people out and build a jury full of Janelle haters. James and Danielle cannot go along with that because they feel as though they are her next target, but they all agree that she has to go. Now talk turns to how Erika is playing Mike. James says that she would put up Will and Mike before himself, and if one comes off, Howie would go up, and then go home. In the red room, Erika, Danielle, and Marcellas are talking about how the game hurts them. Marcellas says he will leave the game the same way he came in, with a smile on his face. When asked by Erika, Marcellas says that Janelle said that she was pressured by everyone in the house and her alliance to put him up. Erika goes all "don't even think that, I was pushing for chicken George.” Speaking of George, he is still walking around the house in a state of shock over not being nominated. Just get over it already George! In the HOH room, Will, Howie, and Janelle are chatting. Will mentions that Marcellas is taking this nomination better than he thought he would, and how Erika thinks that she has Mike’s vote all sewn up. He tells Janelle not to tell Marcellas that he is safe. She says that she will not, but we already know that she did it already. Howie is going on about how he doesn’t feel sorry for them, that they deserve it for what they did to Kaysar. They go on to make fun of James and how he thinks that he is the veto king and how he thinks that he will win every single veto. Will says that he would put Mike against James in any competition. Mike is saying there was some great TV moment today, I think it involved Will crying on cue to convince Janelle to do what he wanted. It's the top "TV moment" Mike wants to see when he gets out. George can’t believe that Will would do that for him. Mike reminds him that the good doctor is not all that bad. Will says that his goal is not to win the game, because he knows that he can’t. He just wants to make good TV. George just continues to sing his praises, and you can tell that Will is just eating it up. James says that if Howie puts him and Danielle up next week, they will veto off Danielle and have the votes to save him. Erika and George are in the kitchen. Erika asks George if she still has his vote. George just tells her that he will talk to her about it when no one else is around. Erika points out that there is no one else around at the moment, but George insists that he will sit down and talk to her about it later. Erika gives up, and goes outside. Soon, we see her working George for his vote. It’s been quite a day for George. He goes from being a possible nominee to being a possible swing vote! Erika tells him to go with his heart and what is best for him. George tells her that he likes her, but she is going to really have to do some hustling. Ouch, that does not sound good for Erika. George does not comment either way, but it sounds like he is leaning towards voting for Erika, but he didn’t make anything official, so anything could happen. Erika is telling Danielle in the backyard that George told her that he didn’t make any deals. He basically told her that he really likes her, but he is in a group and has to do what the group says. Around 4:00 pm Big Brother time, almost everyone has gone down for a nap. It’s about time, I could use one myself. It’s dinner time, and it seems as though some kind of ground meat is on the menu, as there is one feed devoted entirely to just that bowl of meat. Howie got yelled at by Big Brother for singing “Can a cracker get a table dance?” George asks if it is by “the 59 cent guy.” For those of you who don’t know, that’s Fifty Cent’s illegitimate second cousin. Talk turns to how George has only been with one woman ever. Howie says that Janelle has only been with one guy….every six months. Burn! Janelle mentions that she had the best nap ever today. That reminds me of that Friends episode where Joey and Ross fell asleep on the couch together and mentioned that it was the best nap either of them ever had. In Janelle’s case though, it was probably a nap with Howie on an army cot. Janelle is crabby; she is a little upset that her bread turned out too light and fluffy. She is also talking to Howie about strategy, but it seems that neither of them knows who is aligned with whom. That might be good information to have guys. After dinner, Janelle and Will are outside exercising. They mix in bouts of flirting with the reps they are doing. Janelle tells him that she wanted to put his initials in the banana bread because she likes doing things like that because it’s so cute. Let me take a break and get a vomit bag. Will says he wants to talk to her about so many things outside of the game, some life things. She wants him to talk about it, but he doesn’t want to now. Ooooh Will, way to keep a girl on her toes! It looks like they are having their “halfway” party now. With pizza, and a cake with all of their faces on it, the evicted houseguests are on it too, but in grey of course. Even George can partake. It must be a special occasion then. Will complains that there is no sushi, but there is wine, so shut up Will! After the party ends, Marcellas heads to the red room, followed by Danielle and Erika. He says something about Mike and Will being bad children that need to be punished. Apparently those two did something that irritated Marcelllas, and he is moping about it now. From what I can tell, it looks like it may have been a cake fight in the backyard, which sounds like fun, but they did get cake in the pool, so that’s not so fun. Back in the red room, Erika has left and Marcellas and Danielle are whispering, talking about Janelle. Marcellas says that Chill Town will keep Janelle until the final three and just toss her. Danielle agrees, saying that Janelle chose them over Kaysar, Howie, and James. Then we get about a hour of flames as music starts playing and they are made to clean up the mess that they made. One thing else happened though, they got some alcohol. Mike and Howie are taking turns belly flopping into the pool and George quickly follows. Then Mike gets stupid and takes a chair into the pool. People are yelling at him not to do it, but he does it anyway. Erika mutters that they just lost their alcohol. Much raunchy and dirty talk ensues for awhile, though one interesting thing does happen. Will invites all of us internet fans to the wrap party. I am so there. I have a few things I would like to say to a few people there, not to mention some things to say to Diane, but, I digress. Eventually, things start to wind down for the night. They all gather in the living room and actually all get together to play cards. Even Marcellas joins in and for once he is smiling and laughing! People start filtering off to bed, with Danielle being the first one, she has to be the first one up you know, followed by several others. James, Howie, and Janelle stay up a bit, talking about Will throwing competitions, being single, and being annoyed at people who throw other people under the bus, good stuff, but soon enough, they too fall asleep.
