Thursday, January 4, 2007WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE?
Aidan asked, “Zarf? Well, that is some outfit you have on there. What's the deal, Freddie? What are you doing here?” When Zoe said Freddie was dead, had been for years, Aidan told him that wasn’t really funny, considering there's a murderer running around. Zoe agreed it was never funny saying goodbye to someone forever. She claimed she was dressed like that to see if she could pull it off, something different to break up the monotony of the rock star life. Aidan thought the point of the gag was to be seen, and asked “Zarf” to join them downstairs for a drink. After all, what did he have to hide?
IF WHAT HE TOLD ME IS TRUE
At the stroke of midnight, Josh kissed Babe, and Bianca kissed Leslie. Bianca told Leslie she wasn’t really in a festive mood, but not to take it personally; she really did enjoy that kiss! “But sometimes a kiss is just a kiss?” Leslie asked. Bob watched as Josh kissed Babe.
When Babe again tried to convince Josh of her determination to stay with J.R., he said that kiss proved to him that she still wanted him, and his New Year’s resolution was not to go anywhere. Babe told him to take a good look then, because that was the last time he would ever see her again. She took the compact from her purse and thrust it at him—take it and go!
Bianca spoke about mutual friends, and asked Leslie if she’d ever heard of somebody or known somebody who was transgender? Leslie agreed, sort of, a friend of a friend, who was in this amazing relationship until her partner just announced that she was a man trapped in a woman's body. It got too weird for her, and eventually, she left. Bianca admitted she didn’t know what she’d do in that situation. Leslie replied, “We're lesbians. We're women who love women. I kind of get why Mary Alice bailed.” Bianca thought living that lie had to be torture, the loneliest feeling ever, and asked if she’d ever heard of a man who thought he was a lesbian? Leslie thought some oversexed jock fed her that line to get a lesbian in bed, but Bianca worried if what Zoe told her was true.
A MESSAGE IN THERE FOR ME
Zach told Kendall about the similarities between his mother’s death and Simone’s and Erin’s, and showed her the note, “You murdered her”. There was a message in there for him and he needed to find out what it was. “Before he kills me,” Kendall nodded.
NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PROTECTING OUR KIDS
At the penthouse, Ryan and Jonathan shared a New Year’s tradition of Annie’s, but Ryan realized it had been painful for his brother to be there. Saying he had some things to do, Jonathan hugged Ryan and wished him Happy New Year before leaving. Ryan told Annie he’d run into Tad, who felt the murders somehow tied back to Zach. Annie questioned Tad’s information, but Ryan said he was worried enough to warn him. He had to know if his son was at risk. Annie suggested she could keep Spike there for the time being; that was just what Ryan was thinking. Annie agreed, “Nothing is more important than protecting our kids.”
CALL ME NICO FROM NOW ON
After Colby’s credit card was declined, thanks to charging the gifts to Erica, Sean told a driver he was Nico Thomopoulos, and managed to get the limo reserved for a guest of ConFusion. Colby was impressed, especially after “Nico” offered the driver a couple hundred dollars to take the long route home—through Manhattan! As they shared a New Year’s kiss, they heard approaching sirens. Their celebration ended when they were arrested by the same cop that booked Colby for jacking cars, this time for several offenses including theft of services and underage drinking.
I FINALLY UNDERSTAND YOU!
When Zach tried to get her to leave for her own safety, Kendall refused and realized that she finally understood his need to save women in peril. She insisted they were in this together; they would fight and they would win.
WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE HE HATES IT?
Amanda was surprised when Jonathan came into the club, saying nobody expected him to be back so soon. Jonathan snapped that he wanted to work—just back off him! He apologized; it was just this holiday, and he didn’t mean it.
Bianca sighed she would never forgive herself if she hurt this person. When she told Leslie she was really glad she ran into her, Leslie thought that sounded like a lead into "but I'm going home now." Bianca asked, “Would you like to come with me?”
When Josh refused to take the compact, Babe dropped it to the floor; the mirror broke, and she ground her heel into the engraved area. Josh said to grind it into nothing; he still wasn’t giving up on her. Babe saw Zarf, as Zoe, come in with Aidan and Di. Bianca turned and saw Zoe; their eyes met, Zoe’s full of pain.
Aidan pushed Zoe into a public performance, telling Di if he put that dress on to be seen and not commit murder, he shouldn't have a problem with this, “So why does he look like he hates it?”
Zoe picked up a microphone; she looked tortured as she belted out a rendition of “Falling in Love Again.” Babe looked stunned and Bianca wiped away tears as Zoe ended her song to cheers. Bianca confronted her, “What the hell was that? “You almost had me believing you.” Aidan asked believing what? Zoe shrugged Bianca had one too many mimosas and lost her sense of humor. Josh asked Bianca what that punk did to her? When Bianca called it Zarf's way of getting a lesbian into bed, Josh declared he was dead! Bianca said to just let him have his fun, it wouldn’t last, “First thing tomorrow, Zarf is history.”
Aidan was sure Zarf was afraid of something, and put in a call to Derek as “Zarf” signed autographs. Zoe hugged Babe, and cried out for help, saying Zoe was dying—she was killing her! Derek arrived, and wanted Zarf to come down to the station to answer questions about the murders. Babe took Zoe’s hand, “I'll come with you.” Josh protested not without him; Babe told him to go to Hell, and led Zoe away. Bianca watched, as did Jonathan, who was obviously upset.

Friday, January 5, 2007HE REALLY GOT TO ME
Josh was somewhat taken aback to find that Leslie had spent the night with Bianca, and asked Bianca if she was okay? Bianca said if he wanted to worry about somebody, worry about Babe, because she had no idea what she was getting herself into with this Zarf guy. She was surprised Josh intended to keep fighting for Babe; he told her not to worry about it, “We got it under control.” Bianca wanted to know who’s “we”? Kendall was going to want to kill his accomplice! When Josh admitted Kendall was his accomplice, Bianca declared if Kendall was helping him with Babe, she must want something huge from him! What was it? Josh just had one question—could he count on Kendall to come through for him? Bianca agreed, “If whatever you're doing for her is important enough to her, then yeah.
She'll keep her word.” She warned if it had to do with getting Babe for him, not to bother because she was next on Zarf’s conquest list. She called Zarf a manipulative jerk, and Josh asked if he’d hurt her? Bianca said no, not physically, but he used her sexuality, twisted it all up into an ugly knot just to score one night with a lesbian, “He really got to me.” He should have heard him, the stories he told, how he was forced to live life as a boy, a man, a lie, “He broke my heart.” Josh said to wait—was she saying that Zarf was transgender? He worked ER in New York, and saw a fair number of men living in women's bodies, women in men's. Bianca said Zarf claimed he was just beginning the transition and needed her help and support. The kicker—Zarf isn't just a woman, he's a lesbian and he's in love with her. It was all a big gag to him. Josh mused that Zarf coming out like this might explain something weird the night he and Babe spent in his hotel suite. A woman called, but her voice was a man’s. When she asked if his being male was his real or assigned gender, it was way too freaky, so he hung up the phone, “And that was months ago, way before Zarf even met you.” Bianca worried if it was true. She had to know! Josh said to let him take care of it.
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN HE DIED?
Aidan told Di that there was something in Zarf’s eyes when they busted him; he was afraid, and he wanted to know why. Jonathan rushed in and asked if that pervert killed his sister? If he was at Fusion after hours in a disguise, he did it!
Derek sparred with Zarf, asking where he was when Simone and Erin died? Zoe noted all they had was a stranger, a sinner in heels, “I confess. I am a stone killer.” Derek started to record his “confession”, but Zoe said that was a quote from an entertainment magazine about Zarf’s last album. Derek wondered if Zarf got along with his mother when he was little; Jonathan heard Zoe laugh and burst in, demanding to know if Zarf killed his sister. He was upset when Derek let Zarf go, not trusting the police to keep an eye on him.
MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE
Zach sought Myrtle’s advice on how to get Kendall to leave him to save her life. When he filled her in about the significance of the ribbon and the gardenias, Myrtle agreed this was about him, but who could possibly hate him that much? Zach said more people than she could imagine. Myrtle insisted she and Kendall both had faith in him, and said to let her stay.
WHAT ARE YOU SCARED OF?
Ryan arrived without Spike and told Kendall he didn’t think that was the safest place for their son, so he wasn’t coming home yet. Kendall admitted there was a link between Zach and the murders. Upset that Ryan was moving back into the penthouse so he and Annie could watch Spike, Kendall asked if Annie put him up to this so she could have an instant family? Zach came home, and Kendall was stunned when he agreed Spike should stay where he was until this was over. Ryan suggested Kendall move into the penthouse, but she adamantly refused to live with Annie; she was staying home with her husband. Ryan wanted her to stay away from Spike until it was over. Zach agreed, and Kendall ordered Ryan out, go play perfect family with Annie and her son. Ryan left, and Zach insisted she was putting herself at risk by staying. Kendall asked what about the risk of Annie McDermott invading their family? Zach wondered, “What are you scared of? Why is Annie a threat to you?”
JONATHAN WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE
At the penthouse, Emma said she loved Ryan and Spike—could Ryan be her daddy now? Jonathan came in cursing and slamming doors, a wild look in his eyes, shouting they caught Erin’s killer—they had Zarf, and they just let him walk away! Annie thought they probably didn’t have any proof, but Jonathan reminded her they didn't have any proof that her husband was a perv, either, but he was still guilty as hell, wasn't he? Aidan and Di caught Zarf in the offices. He was wearing a dress—a dress! Aidan called the cops—he just wished they had called him first! Annie begged him to let the police handle it, but Jonathan hurried out; there was something he had to do.
Ryan returned, and said Kendall wouldn't budge, so Spike stays put. Annie told him Jonathan said that Aidan caught Zarf at Fusion, and had the police take him in. They released him, and Jonathan was all over the place, “I think he might be in trouble.”
COME HERE, ZOE
Babe said it was over, right? When Zoe smashed a mirror, Babe exclaimed, “Zarf? Everything is going to be okay!” Zoe told her, “I'm not Zarf, I'm not myself. I betrayed myself! If Bianca had understood, nothing, no one else would have mattered.” Babe urged Zarf to talk to her, and Zoe told her, “This is me. This is who I am, Babe. I'm a woman.” Babe replied unless she killed her friends, she was on her side. Zoe said she was one of those transgender people, not Zarf, Zoe, “Not the popular side to be on.” Babe shrugged she always hated the popular kids anyway. If that’s who she was, fine. Zoe asked, “Just like that? You’re okay, you don’t care?” Babe smiled, “Come here, Zoe.” Zoe went into her arms, and Babe held her as she cried.

Monday, January 8, 2007LIKE SOMETHING PRECIOUS WAS STOLEN
Kendall insisted she wasn’t threatened by Annie, claiming she just didn’t want Ryan to get sucked into another one of Annie’s crises. Zach urged her to talk to him, as he had with her about his mother and the way she died. Kendall was just afraid that Spike was going to lose his father completely. Zach insisted Ryan was Spike’s dad, and no one could compete with that. Kendall said Annie’s daughter could, “Ryan is Emma’s father.” Zach noted, “And you decided Ryan should never know.” Kendall sighed it was like a punch in the face when Josh said Emma was Ryan’s child, “Like something precious had been stolen from me and my son.”
TOO MUCH
Ryan told Annie he hoped it wasn’t as bad as she thought, but Annie insisted Jonathan was in a dark place and might hurt someone.
He’d been through one trauma after another, and it was too much. She told Ryan Jonathan didn’t take it well at all that Derek released Zarf. Told he said something about the Valley Inn, Ryan hurried out.
NONE OF IT MATTERS ANYMORE
Jonathan showed up at Zoe’s room and found her still in the dress; he asked what kind of freak Zarf was? Zoe turned away, and Jonathan grabbed her, ripping her dress. Babe stood by Zoe as she declared, “She wants you gone, Jonathan.” Jonathan demanded, “’She’? That is not a she! This man probably killed my sister!” When Babe repeated that Zoe was a woman and Jonathan had to leave, he grabbed her. Babe shouted to let her go, and Bob rushed in, gun drawn, followed by Josh, who took Jonathan down. Ryan came in and wanted to know what the hell was going on? Babe explained that Jonathan barged in here and attacked Zarf for no reason. Jonathan told Zoe he didn’t mean to tear her dress, “I lost control.”
Babe told Ryan that Erin was her friend, and she was devastated that she’s gone. She would never protect anyone who might have murdered his sister. She put her hands on Zoe’s shoulders and told Ryan, “I know this person inside and out, and you are not looking at a murderer, I promise.” Jonathan told Zoe, “If you didn’t do it, I’m very sorry.” Zoe sighed, “I don’t have what it takes to wear it anyway.” Ryan insisted on taking Jonathan back to the penthouse with him.
Josh demanded answers from Zarf about what happened with Bianca—is he transgender? Zoe sighed that none of it mattered anymore; she stripped and asked Josh if there was any sign left that she was a female? “Isn’t it obvious? I have a penis. I am a man.”
Babe refused to leave with Josh. Josh warned she was making a mistake, but Babe said she’d made a lot of mistakes in her life, and this was not one of them. Babe told Zoe she was here for her, and hoped she saw her again soon. Finding Josh waiting for her, she didn’t want to hear one word from him.
NOT BLIND FAITH
Dixie was disturbed that J.R. was spying on Josh’s room, but J.R. insisted he could no longer go on blind faith. Julia showed up to do J.R.’s acupuncture treatment with Kathy in tow; the little girl took to Dixie right away, and asked her to join in the play date with Little A. Kathy was pleased when Dixie suggested they make a card for her mommy.
YOU’RE GOING TO CREATE A MONSTER
When Adam came into the police station, Colby thanked God, and told her daddy to get them out of this nasty place! Colby insisted it wasn’t Sean’s fault, it was Chief Frye’s; he had something against the Chandlers and was using her as an example. Jack showed up, and Adam was stunned that he intended to leave Sean in jail to teach him responsibility for his actions. Sean was upset that Erica had moved back into the Valley Inn. Adam didn’t want to leave Colby there, but Krystal warned if he kept cleaning up his daughter’s messes, he was going to create a monster. Colby couldn’t believe they just left them here, and Sean sighed they were nothing but trouble.” Colby asked, “They really want us gone, huh? Okay, fine. We'll leave. So next time you take a road trip, count me in.”
TRUST THAT, TRUST ME
Derek wanted Dani to leave until the serial was caught, saying it was Mimi’s idea. Dani thought he was the worst liar, and refused to go anywhere. Dani said he and her mother raised a smart and strong woman, “Trust that. Trust me.” After she left with her bodyguards, Derek got disturbing information on the Fusion murders.
IT’S MY MIND THAT YOU’RE WORRIED ABOUT
Ryan brought Jonathan back to the penthouse, where he wanted him to remember Erin when she was alive and living there. When he said anger can mess with your mind. Jonathan knew it wasn’t in Ryan’s mind, “It’s my mind that you’re worried about.” Ryan urged him to find a way to channel it into something positive, as Erin would have wanted.
ONE HELL OF A KISS
Julia was distracted, and told J.R. she was worried about Kathy; her father was dead, and it was touch-and-go with her mother. She got a call that Linda had taken a turn for the worse, and left for the hospital.
After Bob reported that Babe and Josh Madden rang in the New Year with one hell of a kiss, J.R. called Barry Shire and told him to put his other cases on hold, “And tell me exactly what evidence I need to wipe out any prior agreements and win sole custody of my son.”
THE BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE
As Zach told Kendall that not knowing about Ethan was the biggest regret of his life, he got a call from Derek, who said something just came in on the Fusion murders, “How fast can you get down here?” Ryan got the same call from Derek.
HOW DO WE MAKE THIS HAPPEN?
After Josh vowed to continue fighting for her, Babe went directly to Erica’s room.
Josh went to Kendall’s and declared, “I love Babe, to hell with Ryan and his kid. How do we make this happen?”
I DON’T WANT TO MISS OUT ON A MINUTE WITH MY CHILD
At the station, Ryan thanked Zach for backing him up about Spike. Zach was disturbed when Ryan said he didn’t want to miss out on a minute with his child.
24/7 PROTECTION?
Despite her bodyguards, someone watched Dani from the next room as she worked at home.

Tuesday, January 9, 2007TIME FOR ACTION
Erica ordered Babe to leave, but Babe insisted, “I need you to make Josh leave me the hell alone.” Erica maintained that Babe might be telling Josh to go away, but she was sending a different signal. When Jeff showed up and kissed Erica, Babe wondered if Jack knew Erica had told Jeff to go away, or maybe she didn’t and was just sending out the wrong signal? When Babe told her she really should be nicer to her, Erica asked why? “Because with very little effort, I could be calling you ‘Mom’,” Babe replied. Erica assured her that she would do everything in her power to make sure that Josh saw her for exactly who she was. Then, she would be completely alone maybe then she would understand how she hurt Bianca.
Jeff returned and said he and Erica talked too much, and it was time for action. She needed a lot of attention, and kisses and lunch. What did she feel like right now? Erica told him she’d start with lunch, and attention.
ONE HONEST, MORAL FAMILY
When Josh said he wanted Babe, Kendall asked what happened to his concern about Ryan? His right to know about Emma? Josh insisted she had struggled way too hard to get what she wanted to give it up. Where’s the unwritten law that says she can’t have everything? Kendall asked what happened to his big streak of nobility? Maybe they had a chance to change their lives. They could do what Bianca did, take the higher road, and maybe things would be even better than they were before. They could do everything for no other reason than it was the moral choice, rise above their baser instincts. Josh called the concept of one honest, moral family bull. After Kendall agreed Annie shouldn’t have Ryan, Josh was glad to see her regain her Kane-ness, “Poor Annie.” When Kendall agreed to stick to their bargain, Josh reminded her when he got bored and disappointed, his lips got itchy. He got chatty. Kendall warned, “Don't even think about threatening me.”
FULL DISCLOSURE
When Ryan asked why Kendall was so bent out of shape about Annie, Zach replied, “You’re a smart guy, figure it out.” Ryan insisted nothing could come between him and his son. Derek came in with several pictures found in Zarf’s London penthouse, including several of Zach’s mother. Zach still didn’t see the connection, but Derek insisted he cost them valuable time. From then on, he demanded full disclosure.
WHAT WORRIES YOU THE MOST?
Tad came in and saw Dixie with Kathy. Dixie introduced them, but Tad said they were old friends. Tad told Dixie that Zach had hired him to look into his past. When he suggested getting a guard for her, Dixie asked what worried him most, her connection to Zach, or the fact that their daughter-in-law was a co-owner of Fusion? Tad said after everything they’d been through, he wanted to keep her nice and safe.
CAN’T YOU SEE THAT THIS IS HIS PLAN?
Julia held back tears when Linda said she knew she was dying, and asked her to promise she’d take care of Kathy. She knew she loved her daughter, and would be a wonderful mother to her, “Can’t you see that this is His plan, Julia?”
ANY MORE BOMBS?
Kendall arrived at the station as Ryan asked Zach if that was all of it? Did he have any more bombs he wanted to drop? Kendall exclaimed, “Oh, my god, Zach, you didn’t?” Ryan looked from one to the other as Zach agreed, “No, I didn’t, but you can.”
WHY DID YOU LISTEN TO ME?
Jamie brought Kathy to see her mommy; he saw Julia’s worried look, and touched her shoulder in comfort. Tad sighed that saying goodbye had to be the hardest thing a parent can do; Dixie said not as tough as not getting to say goodbye. She knew Linda was in there right now praying that somebody good will take care of their little girl. “I know that prayer too well.” Linda told Kathy nothing made her happier than her and her Aunt Julia, her two best girls, being happy together. What made her the happiest was that she and her Aunt Julia were going to have amazing adventures, and the best time ever. Overcome with emotion, Julia made an excuse to leave the room.
Julia went to the chapel and sobbed that she didn’t want this—she didn’t ask for this! Tad came to the door as Julia cried that this wasn’t the answer to her prayer. She asked for a child and prayed for one, but not Linda’s. She didn’t want Linda to die, “This can't be your plan. I wish I'd never asked you. I wish I had never prayed. God, why did you listen to me?” Tad went in, and held her as she cried. Julia told him she made a wish on the Christmas star. She asked for, prayed for a child, “Linda's dying and it's my fault.” Tad told her it wasn’t. She didn’t put ice on the road, or cause that crash. When Julia said Linda thought it was all part of God’s plan, Tad agreed maybe there's something to that. Asked what kind of God would take Kathy's father, and now her mother, Tad said she’s got him. He stopped trying to figure out God a long time ago. Until Christmas time, he didn't believe in divine intervention, or divine anything, but now he’s not so sure. Whatever was going on was a lot bigger than they were. And if that crash was part of a greater plan, then maybe she was, too. Maybe this wasn’t the answer to her prayer, “Maybe you are the answer to a prayer that somebody's been praying a lot longer than you'll ever know.”
SOMEONE WATCHES
As Dani worked in the living room, moving with the music from her I-Pod, someone watched from a closet. Dani got up to get a soda, and someone watched her drink it. She got up to take a call from Derek before going back inside and drinking again from her soda bottle. Dani rubbed her neck and groaned she could not be getting the flu, please. She suddenly felt a pain in her chest; she looked around and gasps, “Oh, no. How…” She stood and tried to call out for Hank, but collapsed on the floor.
As Babe and Josh arrived and argued outside over who would go in first, the killer looked down at Dani. She opened her eyes briefly; they widened when she saw the murderer, and she passed out.

Wednesday, January 10, 2007I THINK YOU’RE WRONG
Ryan wanted to know what Zach wasn’t telling him this time? If he spoke up earlier, his sister might be alive. If Zach knew something he needed to talk. Kendall insisted there was no secret about the killer. She wanted to tell him about a decision she’d made. She apologized for going off on him about keeping their son, and was onboard with it. What she wanted to tell him herself was that she wanted to visit Spike, and not just once in a while. Ryan didn’t think that was a very good idea. Kendall lost her temper and wondered if Annie got a vote? Ryan sighed that Annie had nothing to do with it; he lost his sister and didn’t want to lose her or his son. He walked away, and Kendall asked Zach, “What? You're mad because I couldn't tell Ryan that Emma's his daughter? Go ahead, say it.
Tell me you think I'm wrong.” Zach agreed, “I think you're wrong.” Kendall felt there was a big picture, and that was Spike. She loved him, not Ryan, and had never been so flippin' happy in her whole life. Zach knew; he could see that.
ARE YOU ZOE OR ZARF?
At Fusion, Bianca asked Aidan what he thought about who Zarf was; Aidan didn’t have a clue. Seeing how upset she was, Di asked if Zarf did something to her?
As Zoe dressed, again as Zarf, she thought about Bianca’s reaction to her, that she was a phony, a fake.
Bianca said no, Zarf didn't do anything to her, he just confused her; she was surprised when Aidan said Zarf was afraid of something, too. As she wondered what, Zoe came in and suggested if Bianca had any questions about her, ask her. Two police officers arrived to escort Zarf to the station for questioning, but Zoe said her attorney had advised her not to answer any questions unless he was present, which he wasn’t. The police left, and Bianca wanted to talk to Zarf alone. Leaving them in the capable hands of Carl, Aidan wanted to do some legwork; Di wanted in on it.
Bianca asked if she was real, a transgender? If she was wrong about her, she wanted to make it right. Zoe shrugged, “Zoe is as real as I want her to be.” She claimed she was an artist, always looking for inspiration. “He” wanted to write a song about the transgender experience and did his research, ergo the transgender hotline. Bianca asked again, “Are you Zoe or Zarf?” Zoe replied, “I can't be Zoe. She's gone. I killed her. I gave Zoe life. I took it away.” She insisted it was an act, but what she felt for Bianca was real, but Bianca declared she was done with this, “You're off the campaign. So take your song and get your stuff and get the hell out of here.”
CALL SOMEONE!
As Babe and Josh argued before knocking, Dani was inside the house, unconscious on the floor. When they knocked and got no answer, Josh insisted the guards break down the door. Babe and Josh rushed in to find Dani on the floor, a gardenia on her chest and white ribbons on her hands.
NO FREEDOM, AND NO DADDY TO HELP YOU OUT
As they waited for court to convene, Colby and Sean agreed this was totally unfair—they hadn’t done anything that terrible! Adam arrived, and Colby was upset that his influence didn’t work with the D.A. or judge. Jack advised that they could be sentenced to prison for this, so their best bet was to plead guilty, apologize and mean it, and throw themselves on the mercy of the court. When Judge Walsh asked if they had anything to say for themselves, both Sean and Colby made statements to the court, but the judge noted they showed no guilt and didn’t apologize. Sean likely faced probation and community service, but prison was a very real possibility. Given Colby’s record, she could spend 3 ½ to 7 years in prison. He called a recess, and suggested they think long and hard about how they’d like to spend the next 3 ½ to 7 years. Sean refused to let Colby go down alone, and Colby protested that they only broke the law a little bit. Krystal painted her a visual picture of what prison was like, with no freedom, and no daddy to help her out. When Judge Walsh returned, the defendants were considerably more contrite, and the judge was ready to pronounce sentence.
BINGO!
After searching Zarf’s room, Di came out with a small bag in her hand. Aidan said it looked like the makeup kit Zarf uses to dress up like a woman. He found a vial and a syringe and declared, “Bingo.”
IT’S YOUR ADDRESS
Derek got a call, and told Ryan that Zarf was at Fusion, but he’d lawyered up. They couldn’t touch him, not until they got something that sticks. Lt. Perry told Derek they’d gotten a call for backup, and it was his address. When Derek and Lt. Perry hurried past them, Zach asked what was happening? Ryan said it was Danielle.
Babe helped Josh perform CPR, and thanked God when Josh got a pulse and Dani was breathing on her own. After Dani was taken to the hospital, Babe’s fear was evident; she went into Josh’s arms for comfort.
IT’S NOT ENOUGH
As Derek went in to his daughter’s bedside, Babe realized the killer could get to any one of them at any time, anywhere. Joe said Dani had suffered serious cardiac complications; they were doing everything they could. Ryan asked Zach if he was going to actually do something now, or was he going to wait around until somebody else went down? Zach agreed with Ryan that it was his fault. He went to speak with Derek, and Kendall broke down in tears; Ryan held her as she cried.
When Babe said nothing mattered, nothing was enough to stop the killer from getting to them, Josh insisted she couldn’t let this bastard win, and had to fight back. As Babe agreed he was right, Dani took a turn for the worse.
ONE ABSOLUTE TRUTH
When Bianca said they would honor his "pay or play" clause, Zoe told the song was Fusion’s to keep, and he wouldn’t bother her again. Bianca warned him to stay away from Babe, too. Zoe sighed, “There's one absolute truth, Bianca. You are the truest, brightest light. I'm sorry I hurt you.” Derek stepped off the elevator, gun drawn. He grabbed Zoe, “You son of a… You're dead!”

Thursday, January 11, 2007WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY?
J.R. told Jamie that he had an eyewitness to Babe cheating on him. He was divorcing her and going for custody of Little Adam, but Jamie shouldn’t tell Babe. Jamie asked if he remembered when he told him he’d take Babe’s side if he went off the wagon? He still meant it—no drinking! “You have one sip, I have Babe’s back.” J.R. nodded, that’s understood. Jamie said he’s his brother. What else could he say? If he couldn’t trust his wife, do what he had to do.
I KNOW WHAT I NEED TO DO NOW
As they watched Linda and Kathy together, Dixie wondered if they’d ever look at a child again and not wonder about their Kate? Tad said this wasn’t doing any good, “Come with me.”
Julia told Linda she’d been in the chapel, had a sit-down with the Big Man, “I know what I need to do now.” She agreed to take Kathy, forever if need be, and Linda asked her to get someone in there; she wanted to sign papers and get everything done. Julia agreed, she’d get a lawyer.
WHY DO YOU SAY “WAS”?
“Where were you when Dani was drugged?” Derek demanded. He could kill him right now! When Zoe sighed that Danielle was so young, Derek grabbed Zarf by the throat, “Why do you say ‘was’? What do you know?” Zoe swore she didn’t know anything. Aidan arrived and warned the Chief to stop, “You don't want any more lawsuits, especially now.” He found something in Zarf’s room that could be of value, a syringe and vials of clear liquid in Zarf’s makeup kit. If he were Derek, he’d get some of his men over there with a warrant before he let this guy out of his sight.
Di looked at Bianca questioningly as Zoe said she’d lost the view to her soul, and Bianca asked if he did this? Zoe thought that would make her happy; it would prove to her that she had the right to hate her.
Derek said the CSI team found a syringe puncture in the plastic soda bottle Dani was drinking from, and all the other soda bottles in his fridge. He got a call that they were prepping Dani for surgery, but didn’t want to leave Zarf until his guys could execute the warrant. Zach suggested taking Zarf with them, and Derek told him he could watch his daughter fight for her life.
ARE YOU NEXT, OR AM I?
Josh explained that the V-Tach caused a heart attack; it was causing her heart to beat more and more erratically. If this went on much longer, she could have organ damage. Kendall said this could have been her home or Babe’s; even with bodyguards, they’re not safe anywhere. Josh called after her as Babe rushed away. Outside, Babe screamed in frustration for the killer to bring it on to her! Josh and Ryan tried to calm her, but Kendall insisted if someone was stalking them, they had to fight back. Babe agreed, she wanted to look this lowlife in the face. She refused to leave, and Josh said fine, stay here, prove she was loyal to J.R. and get herself killed!
Kendall also refused to leave, and insisted Ryan wasn’t going to lose her as he had his sister. Ryan said he wasn’t ready for another funeral, “I'm not going to sit down and have to explain to Spike how his mother was killed.” Josh was upset to learn that Zach was somehow connected to the murders. Babe told Kendall that Simone and Erin were dead, Dani was in there needing emergency surgery, “Are you next, or am I?” Babe blamed herself because she and Josh were outside fighting when they could have gotten to Dani sooner. Ryan said they were right outside the house, “He might have even heard you ring the doorbell.”
CAN YOU HANDLE IT?
Julia warned Jamie about the changes in her life that Kathy would bring, and asked if he could handle it? Jamie assured her he was in it with her for the long haul, Aunt Julia and Uncle Jamie.
SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE
As they walked through the park, Dixie hopes the people looking after Kate were as wonderful as Julia would be for Kathy and spoke of how badly she’d wanted to give Tad a child of their own. He was pleased to hear that she wanted to return to the hospital as a patient advocate again, and bought chicken fingers to cheer her up and bring back some good memories. Tad got a call from Aidan, that there had been a break in the Fusion murders.
I’LL BACK YOU ALL THE WAY
Colby was upset with her punishment, having to scrape gum from underneath the cafeteria tables at school—for a month, wearing a hairnet! When Krystal went to talk to her, J.R. told Adam of his plans to divorce Babe and fight for custody. Could he deal with the fallout from Krystal? Adam told J.R. to do what he had to do, and he’d back him all the way.
Krystal tried to convince Colby that a little embarrassment was better than an 8-by-8 cell, “It'll all be over before you know it.” Colby pretended to accept her hug gracefully, but went to told J.R. that she was so going to nail her! When she said Krystal and Tad had a secret that Dixie knew about, J.R. told her to forget it—she was already in enough trouble with their dad! Later, when Dixie came home, J.R. sat her down so they could talk.
Krystal told Adam she was just thinking how lucky they all are. Babe and J.R. were getting closer, weren’t they? Adam noted they could hardly be one big, happy family with Colby all worked up like this. Krystal really thought Colby understand, and everything was going to be just fine.
GIVE THOSE BACK—THEY’RE MINE!
Derek sat by Dani’s bedside and spoke of his love for her; he was relieved when she opened her eyes and asked, “Daddy?” Ryan told Babe and Kendall if Dani pulled through, she could save the rest of them.
Zach showed Zoe a picture of his mother that was found in Zarf’s London home, and asked what was the connection? Derek held out a plastic bag with the syringe and vials and asked “Zarf” if he cared to explain what drug it was? Zoe lost all pretense of composure and lunged at the bag as she shouted, “Give those back! Those are mine!” Babe and Bianca watched, stunned, as Aidan and Zach held Zoe back and she shouted, “You bastard! Give those back! They're mine!”
pika- 02-05-2007
Friday, January 12, 2007YOU CAN KISS THE VELVET ROPES GOODBYE
As Zoe shouted for the return of the drugs found in her room, Derek told the superstar he could kiss the velvet ropes goodbye, “Life as you know it just ended.” Babe defended Zoe, insisting Derek was wrong, and begging Zoe to tell them what was in the vials—they couldn’t think she was a killer! Zoe grabbed a passing gurney and used it to block the path of the others, managing to escape. Ryan was disgusted that Derek had Zarf and let him get away.
Zach was upset when the bodyguard brought Kendall a cup of coffee from a vending machine, and insisted she not eat or drink anything unless it was delivered by a company he trusted.
Babe thought Zarf was being framed, and was surprised Bianca didn’t agree. Bianca noted he hadn’t bothered to deny it.
Told that a picture of Zach’s mother was found in Zarf’s London home, Kendall believed Zarf was the killer, and railed against Babe for being stupid enough to believe in him. Josh defended Babe, who asked Bianca if they could speak privately. Kendall refused to go home, but assured Zach she’d be careful and she’d be fine. Having very little faith in the PVPD, Zach told Kendall he had to catch this guy himself.
Kendall was stunned when Bianca said Zarf had dressed as a woman and tried to convince her that he was a lesbian to get her into bed, trying to turn the gay girl straight. Josh suggested Kendall stop going off on Babe, and start making good on her promise to help him rip her away from J.R.
When Bianca said Zarf created a fictional character to try to manipulate her into bed, Babe insisted that Zoe was real. She left that woman hating herself and in a lot of pain. Bianca insisted Zarf was not a woman, and Babe should wake up—not everybody was worthy of her blind acceptance. Babe asked, “Were you? When you told me you were a lesbian and I accepted you. How is that any different than my accepting Zoe?”
Kendall wanted to forget about the pact she and Josh had, but he intimidated her by calling Ryan over and saying they had something to tell him. Ryan mistakenly assumed they were arguing over Kendall’s safety, and she agreed. When Ryan left, Kendall agreed to try to pry Babe away from J.R. for Josh, even if it would ruin his life. Josh told her to let him be the judge of that.
HOW CAN YOU NOT RELATE TO THAT?
Babe said that Zoe had been living a lie her entire life, and she finally got the courage to come out to someone, to Bianca, and she told her to go to Hell. How would she have felt if the person she came out to did that? Bianca knew people could be transgender, and had all the sympathy in the world for somebody going through that struggle, but why would Zarf choose to be transgender? Babe shrugged, “Why would you choose to be a lesbian?” Bianca told her she knew she was born this way, and Babe agreed, so was Zoe. She was born a woman and a lesbian. Why was she having such a hard time with this? Was it because Zoe wasn’t the right kind of lesbian? Bianca refused to have this conversation anymore. Babe asked George to take her home to her husband. Bianca told Josh if she had to hear the name Zarf one more time, she’d break into a million pieces.
MY MOM, THE WORLD’S WORST LIAR
J.R. pressed Dixie not to keep any more secrets from him, and tell him what big secret of Krystal’s she knew about. Dixie insisted there was no secret, and urged him not to give it another thought. When she left the room, J.R. sighed, “My mom, the world’s worst liar.”
THE RAGE WAS THERE BEFORE THE DELUSIONS
Jonathan brought a load of firewood to the penthouse, telling Annie he had taken an ax and chopped down trees behind Wildwind to work through his rage, but it hadn’t helped; his anger was starting to choke him. Annie asked if he could feel this rage coming on? Jonathan nodded, and said he’d been angry when he came there, but talking to her helped. Ryan came in, and chose not to tell Jonathan that Dani had been attacked, or that Derek let Zarf, the principal suspect, get away. Annie assured him he’d done the right thing.
PLEASE COME BACK TO US
Tad reached out to a worried Derek, urging him to keep the faith. He vowed to do anything he could to help him—they were still friends, weren’t they? Derek agreed they were, and the men shared a hug. Tad thanked God for that, and Derek smiled, “I missed you.”
Joe reported to Derek that Dani was out of surgery; she’d made it this far, but the next 24 hours were critical. Livia arrived, having taken the first flight she could get. She comforted her brother, and told him to go catch the bastard that attacked Dani; she would stay with her and not leave her side. Alone, Livia told Dani how she felt about her, and begged her to come back to her Aunt Livvie and to her daddy.
PLEASE HELP ME
Babe returned home and told J.R. what had happened to Dani. She went to kiss Little Adam goodnight, and J.R. was surprised when Kendall came to see him.
Babe went out on the terrace, sighing as she sat down on a stone bench. Hearing a noise, she got up to go in, but heard Zoe’s agonized whisper, “Help me, Babe. Please help me.”
THIS JUST CAME FOR YOU
In his office, Zach made a call and gave orders to find Zarf, apprehend him, and bring him there. Zach received a message from the killer, the latest Fusion ad featuring pictures of the women of Fusion wearing Santa hats, a large black “X” crossing out Simone’s, Erin’s and Dani’s faces.
pika- 02-05-2007
Monday, January 15, 2007I DIDN’T DO IT
When Ryan and Tad arrived at his office, Zach showed them the Fusion ad he received, “We got another message from the killer. He’s going for a clean sweep.” When he said it was Zarf and Tad had no clue of what he meant, Ryan asked if he hadn’t figured out that withholding information was not going to keep Kendall safe? Zach showed Tad the picture of his mother and said it was like one found in Zarf’s London home; he seemed to recognize it, but was just messing with his head. When Zach and Ryan argued, Tad told them he and Aidan had investigated Zarf and his connection to the Cambias family, but there wasn’t one. If they stayed at each other’s throats, they were going to fail Kendall, and Babe and Dani. He didn’t believe the drugs found in Zarf’s room meant he was guilty, and warned if they let their guard down assuming that he or anyone other suspect was guilty, another murder could prove them wrong.
Zach thought back to the day his mother died, the young child looking over the balcony and insisting, “I didn't do it. I didn't do it!” Back to the present, Zach repeated, “I didn't do it.”
THAT’S TERRIBLE
Erica rushed in and thanked God Bianca was all right. She’d heard there was another attack—was it Kendall? Told Kendall was fine, Erica asked, “Well, then, was it Babe?” Josh told her Babe was very much alive and well; Dani was attacked. Erica called that terrible, and Josh questioned if she meant it was terrible that it wasn’t Babe, or terrible that it happened at all? Bianca called for a truce, and told Erica that Josh was at Dani’s when they found her, and he saved her life. Erica told Josh she was very proud of him, and was sure that Derek was so relieved. How did this happen?
Bianca said it was V-Tach again. The killer injected it into a plastic soda bottle. Stunned, Erica said the killer just walked into the Chief of Police’s house? Did they have a suspect? Learning that they thought it was Zarf, Erica blamed everything on Babe for bringing him to Pine Valley, and delivered Babe’s message for Josh to stay away from her. Josh took it as a sign that Babe truly loved him, and remarked on how desperate she must be if she went to Erica for help. Bianca was upset to learn that Erica was back at the Valley Inn, rather than home with Jack. When Josh defended Babe and spoke of what a loyal friend she was, Bianca realized that was where Zarf was. Josh hurried from the hospital. When Bianca left to spend time with Miranda, Erica was startled when Jeff pulled her into an exam room and kissed her, but returned his passionate kiss.
Bianca arrived at home to find Maggie waiting for her.
MY DESTINY, AND THEN IT ENDS
Babe told Zoe not to be afraid, they’d explain everything and make them understand, but Zoe cried for her to help her, “Make me disappear.” Babe insisted she knew it wasn’t V-Tach in those files; it was just going to prove she’s innocent. Zoe knew they would destroy her, calling the drugs her destiny, now ended. When they looked at her, they’d see a sad, broken freak. Babe insisted what matters is love, not how you love or who you love or even what body you love with. Good people would see that, and if they didn’t, to hell with them. Bianca didn’t mean to hurt her, she was just confused, and she was going to get it eventually. For now, she was going to protect her and keep her safe.
IT’S A WASTE
At ConFusion, Jonathan was upset when some patrons spoke about Erin’s death and Amanda said Zarf didn’t kill anybody. Amanda insisted Jon take some more time for himself, and Del told Amanda that suffering for someone who didn’t love her was a waste.
YOUR HERO
J.R. didn’t buy Kendall’s suggestion that she’d come to forgive him, noting that neither of them could forgive and forget, so what was she really after? Kendall realized J.R. hadn’t forgiven his skanky little wife, and wondered what he was waiting for to get rid of her. Before J.R. could reply, J.R.’s laptop beeped, and Kendall saw the spy-cam in Josh’s room. As Kendall wondered if Babe had any idea J.R. was spying on her, Babe came in and asked what was going on? J.R. held his breath until Kendall covered, telling him that Zarf was his wife’s new best friend. Babe insisted Zarf didn’t kill anyone, and laughed when J.R. said Kendall had come to forgive him. She left the room, and went to the tunnels, where she had hidden Zoe.
J.R. was surprised to learn that Josh had saved his life when he went out of that window; Kendall said he owed her for not ratting him out to Babe.
HOW DID IT HAPPEN?
Jonathan went to the boathouse and furiously kicked a wall before picking up a log and hammering at anything within sight. Lily came in and asked how it happened? He was the old Jonathan again.
MUTUAL GRATIFICATION
As Kendall agreed to work with J.R. to get the goods on Babe, Josh rushed in and demanded to know where Babe was. He brushed past J.R. and went into the tunnels, where he came face to face with Babe and Zoe.
pika- 02-05-2007
Tuesday, January 16, 2007WHY ARE YOU HERE?
When Bianca demanded to know what she was doing there, Maggie said she’d been so worried about her—please tell her she was okay! She’d come to apologize for hurting her. She made the biggest mistake of her life walking out on her, and was so incredibly sorry, “Will you please forgive me?” She realized how stupid she was to walk away from her. She loved her so much; she missed her and the life that they had together. What she did was wrong on a million levels, but it made her see how much she loves her, how beautiful she is spend the rest of her life fixing what she broke, making it up to her and loving her. Bianca asked if she was just supposed to forget about what she did? Maggie wanted to help her get through this, but Bianca wanted her to leave.
Maggie agreed, but she’d be at the Valley Inn—she wasn’t giving up!
NO, I GUESS I DON’T
Jeff planned a romantic evening on the terrace on the Valley Inn. As he and Erica danced, she said she absolutely loved it. Jack came out on the terrace and reminded her that she loved it when he did it, too. When he said he’d come about the divorce papers, Erica asked Jeff to excuse them. She asked Jack if there was something in the papers he didn’t agree with? Jack didn’t agree with anything in them—he didn’t want their marriage to be over! He owed her an apology. He should have come clean the minute he knew Sean and Colby were behind those presents, admitted he didn’t send any of them, but the problem was that he wished to hell he had sent them because they put this gleam in her eye that hasn’t been there in a long time.
Why didn’t he think to send those gifts? Why couldn’t he admit to her how horribly lonely he’d been without her? Why did he have to be so stubborn? He was afraid when she found out he didn’t send those gifts that that wonderful light in her eyes would go out, and he was right. So he came here today to see if he could put it back. Erica agreed she would love for them to go back to the way they were on their wedding day, but it’s not that simple. Their problems were so much deeper than his not sending her those Christmas presents. Jack said he came to see if they maybe couldn’t try to find their way back again. As Erica asked if he really thought that’s possible, Jeff came back out on the terrace. Jack looked at him and sighed, “No, I guess I don’t.”
PLEASE HELP ME!
Lily fearfully said he was the old Jonathan again—she could see it in his face! He looked like the bad Jonathan, the one from the cave. Was he going to kidnap her? Jonathan promised her he wasn’t the old Jonathan; he was angry at the person who killed Erin. Lily thought if being angry could bring someone back to life, then she guessed it would be worth it. But as far as she knows, it can’t. She hoped he stopped being angry soon. She left the boathouse, and Jonathan cried, “Erin, please help me.”
THIS IS HEAVEN
At ConFusion, Amanda became suspicious when a bar patron, Kenny, went to get his credit card from his wallet and she saw pictures of all the Fusion women. She told Del, who spoke to Kenny and was taken aback when he said he had a personal connection to the Fusion women; dying somehow preserved their perfection, and they’d always be young and gorgeous. Del agreed Amanda should call the police, but Kenny was gone when she turned around.
TELL THEM
Josh dragged Zoe out of the tunnels, and J.R. was furious that Babe had brought a killer into his house. As Kendall started to call the police, she got a call from Zach, who instructed her not to call the cops—he was on his way over! Babe told “Zarf” that he couldn’t keep this up—she needed him to tell them! Zoe tried to break free again, but was stopped by two guards in the foyer. When she was again asked what was in the vials, Babe pleaded with Zoe to tell them.
Zach arrived with Ryan and Tad, who urged him to let the police handle it, and J.R. said the police were on their way. Tad asked what about the picture of Zach’s mother? Where did he get that? Surprised, Zoe turned to Zach and repeated, “Your mother? That beautiful woman, like a dream. Those eyes, so loving, so accepting.” Babe begged Zoe to save herself and tell the truth. Zoe sighed it was too late, it was over.
BETTER GET READY, KENNY
When Jonathan came in, Amanda told him about the weird guy at the bar tonight; he opened his wallet, and all these pictures fell out, pictures of the Fusion women. He gave her his card to start a tab, but then he took off without it. They had the cops on it, and they would track him down. Someone would pay for what happened to his sister. Jonathan agreed as much as he wanted him to be their guy, they had to let the police do their job. Amanda saw a detective come in, and went to speak to him. After making sure no one was looking, Jonathan took the bill from the bar. He stepped out and called the credit card company’s customer service, explaining that a gentleman left his card at his bar tonight, and he was trying to get some information to track him down. He got the information he wanted and ended the call; he noted, “Better get ready, Kenny.”
Jonathan went back into the club; he and Del noticed that Amanda was upset, and asked if she was okay? “The murderer got to Dani,” Amanda cried.
TELL THEM!
The police arrived, and Derek placed Zarf under arrest, adding he was expecting the test results on those drug vials they found in his room any minute. Everyone listened in stunned silence as Zoe declared they didn’t have to do any lab tests, “I’ll tell you what’s in those vials. It’s V-Tach. I drugged those women. I killed them, and if you don’t lock me up right now, I’ll kill again.” Derek got the test results, and learned the drug in the vials was estrogen. At Babe’s urging, Zoe admitted who she was.
pika- 02-05-2007
Wednesday, January 17, 2007I WANT TO TELL YOU WHO I AM
Zoe cried, “It’s me. I’m Zoe.” Babe proudly said she did it, and J.R. exclaimed, “Oh, give me a break!” As everyone shouted questions at once, Josh called Bianca, telling her to get over to the Chandler mansion fast.
Derek said he’d better clear this up fast! They had two women dead and one still on the critical list, and he was talking about killing someone else. “Only myself, by denying myself,” Zoe explained, “I want to tell you who I am.” Babe urged her to just tell the truth. She’d already started, she was Zoe, so finish it and tell them the rest. Zoe explained how she’d grown up as a boy, but always knew she was a girl. She was treated like a boy, but inside she felt like what she was, a girl.
The estrogen and the syringe were to help save her life, not to take anyone else’s. It was the next step. She was trying to find the courage. Derek wanted to know if he got some sick thrill from what he did to Dani, and Zach questioned why he had his mother’s picture. As Zoe cried she didn’t know what else to say, Bianca arrived and wanted to hear everything they hadn’t heard—all of it! Zoe spoke of how she’d thought she found a home. Fusion was perfect, built by strong women for strong women. The atmosphere was so creative and supportive. She met Babe in Philadelphia. Josh remembered he hit on her as a very straight male. Zoe said she loved women but she wasn’t a man; she was like Bianca, a woman who’s attracted to women. “Now you’re a lesbian?” Kendall asked incredulously. Zoe went on that she cut out those pictures because she needed them. She was trying to figure out what kind of woman she was. She had no role models. All those women looking back at her? “I just wanted to look into one pair of eyes and see me.” Derek declared, “Frederick Luper, a/k/a Zoe, a/k/a Zarf, you are under arrest.”
Babe was upset that no one believed Zoe—were they all so narrow-minded? She said surely Bianca believed her! Bianca left without a word. Josh wondered if Babe couldn’t see when someone wanted her dead? J.R. told him to get out, and Babe agreed to should go. Alone, Babe and J.R. argued over her trust in people, and J.R. vowed that her winding up in ribbons and gardenias wasn’t how they were going to end.
THE WORST IS NOT OVER YET
Livia sat with Dani and prayed for her to wake up; she had a crisis of conscience wondering how many people she’d defended someone who was guilty and let them go free. She didn’t know if she coulf ever do it again.
Di and Julia spoke of the rush of trying to catch a killer; Di knew the worst wasn’t over yet.
REMEMBER ME?
As Amanda, Del and Jonathan talked about the guy who had pictures of the Fusion women in his wallet, Kenny came back for his credit card. Jonathan grabbed him and wanted to interrogate him, and Kenny told them he was Kenny Adler; he’d worked as an attorney for Fusion, and had loved Simone. He offered to go to the Chief of Police and explain everything, that he had the pictures because he missed the women of Fusion. Jonathan insisted on going with him; Del said not to get in the car with him, take his own car and follow.
DID I DO THIS TO YOU?
At the police station, Derek was upset that Jack had been assigned as Special Prosecutor, but Jack said he might as well get used to it. Bianca arrived and wanted to see Zarf—she had to know the truth! She went to the cell and asked Zoe if this was her fault? Did she do this to her? She’d made her think about everybody that she came out to, and how some of them responded because they didn’t understand or they were afraid or maybe just repulsed. She was so disappointed in them and so hurt, and she never imagined that she could do that to somebody else, “Did I?” On New Year’s Eve she thought she was lying, but now she thought maybe she was wrong. Zoe spoke of how clearly she’d seen them together, and Bianca called that very romantic. Zoe agreed that fantasies usually were. She was overwhelmed with gratitude when Bianca said she believed she was innocent. Zoe moved closer and put her hands on the bars of the cell; Bianca covered them with her own.
NOT UNTIL IT’S OVER
Back at his office, Zach told Kendall he didn’t believe Zarf, or Zoe was the killer. Spike couldn’t come home yet, and the guards had to stay 24/7. Kendall protested that’s not fair, and reminded him that Zarf had that picture of his mother. Zach shrugged he didn’t know anything about her, and she was tied to the killings in some way. Kendall asked if he couldn’t just drop it now? Zach said no, not until it's over.
DID YOU SEE ANYTHING?
Livia urged Dani to wake up, and was overjoyed when she opened her eyes. She told her that her daddy was going to be so, so happy. Did she know where she was? It was the hospital, but she was going to be fine. Did she remember anything before she passed out? Dani said soda, “It was a soda bottle.” Livia asked about before that, before she passed out. Did she see anything? Dani said yes, but closed her eyes again.
HE COULD BE ANYPLACE!
Amanda was surprised to get a call from Jonathan, who asked if Kenny Adler came back there? He lost him, and the S.O.B. could be anyplace!
ANOTHER RIBBON
J.R. asked if she’d forget about Zarf or Zoe? Babe asks that they not fight about this, please, and he agreed that was fine by him. Babe remembered that Little A’s tricycle was outside and it looked like snow; J.R. said he’d tell Winifred to get it. Babe said no, she really could use some air, and J.R. told her to make sure George was with her. Babe went outside and told George she was just going to grab Little A’s trike. As she walked over to it and wheeled the tricycle back to the house, someone watched. When she was out of sight, someone tied a ribbon into a bow on the gate.
pika- 02-05-2007
Thursday, January 18, 2007WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW?
Bianca arrived at Fusion to find an empty office and a brewing crisis.
I’LL BE THE BAIT
Dani woke up and remembered a man’s hand in a glove, and a bird swooping down on her face. Joe came in and said that was enough; he told everyone to leave so she could get some rest.
When Derek wanted Livia to take Dani out of town, she questioned what if Zarf wasn’t guilty of the murders? Derek was almost positive they had the right guy, but couldn’t take the smallest chance they didn’t, not with his daughter. Aidan thought they should tell the killer that Dani knew exactly who he was. He pitched his idea to Derek and Livia, they put it all over the media that Dani knows exactly who her attacker is, and put Di in that bed in Dani’s place.
Livia thought for it to work, the killer would have to get close enough to at least see a black woman in that bed, “Get Dani out of town. I'll be the bait.”
IF YOU DON’T HAVE MY BACK, GET OUT OF MY WAY!
As Babe and J.R. argued over Zoe, Jamie came in holding a white ribbon and said he found this outside, tied around the gate. J.R. was sure that Zarf left his calling card, but Babe insisted the murderer was out there free as a bird, waiting for all the close-minded people to look the other way! She left for Fusion, and J.R. called his lawyer to tell him what Babe had done, playing nice with a killer. If that wasn’t enough to prove that she's an unworthy mommy, he didn’t know what would. Jamie realized all he cared about was his stupid custody case, but what about Babe? Didn’t he care that she could die before she ever gets to court? He accused him of just being glad he had something to call his lawyer about, but J.R. insisted this was is the perfect opportunity to overturn custody agreements. Jamie took the opportunity to try to educate his brother about sexual orientation and gender not being the same thing; he urged him to talk to Babe, try to understand. J.R. insisted if he could believe that Babe really loved him, he would stop this in a heartbeat. He’s not setting any traps for Babe, but Josh was still in her life, “But if you don't have my back, get out of my way.”
YOU CALLED ME ZOE
Josh went to see Zoe in her jail cell, and admitted how frightened he was for Babe, Kendall and Bianca. Zoe swore that she hadn’t killed Simone and Erin, and Josh came to believe she was on the level. Zoe insisted what happened to her didn’t matter, but his sisters and Babe. The Satin Slayer was still out there, “They need your help. You must protect them. They're in danger.”
BIGGER PROBLEMS THAN A MURDERER?
Zach had the same dream again, but rejected Kendall’s suggestion that he talk to a professional who might be able to bring out his repressed memories about his mother’s death. Kendall got a call from Bianca, who said she needed her at Fusion, they had problems. Kendall asked, “Bigger problems than a murderer?” Bianca told her to just get down there as soon as possible.
HE’S NO KILLER
As Jonathan and Amanda tried to convince the police to check Kenny Adler out, Kenny arrived and got a warm welcome from Lt. Perry, who insisted he wasn’t a killer. He explained that Kenny had been a lawyer here in Pine Valley, and insisted they had the murderer downstairs in a jail cell. Ryan arrived, and said he wasn’t sure of that, but his security team was going to be checking everyone out. Zach came in, and asked Ryan if there were any Cambias family personal belongings left behind when Alexander died. Ryan told him he had everything shipped to a warehouse outside of Pine Valley, for Miranda, when she was old enough to know who her grandfather was. Zach questioned if he remembered seeing a portrait of his mother? Ryan didn’t; he didn't see any of the stuff, but could get a key for him. He warned Zach that he was running out of time, and to find the link between him and whoever was responsible for the murders. Ryan was surprised when Josh agreed with Babe that Zoe hadn’t killed anyone. Jonathan worried about Amanda’s safety.
WHERE IS EVERYONE?
When Kendall and Babe arrived, Bianca broke the bad news that the entire staff had quit and 90% of their orders had been cancelled when word got out that Zarf was arrested for murder. If they couldn’t pull out a miracle, Fusion was finished. Kendall was stunned when Bianca agreed with Babe that Zoe was a woman and couldn’t have killed anyone. Maggie showed up with an offer to help, and a declaration that she wasn’t leaving Pine Valley. Ryan arrived, and told the women he was sorry, but he was closing down Fusion. All were worried when a gardenia was delivered to Kendall.
Zach went to the warehouse where all of the Cambias belongings were stored and found a portrait, seemingly of Kendall, wearing a white dress, a white ribbon at her throat, and a gardenia in her hand.
YOU’LL ALWAYS HAVE ME
Dixie surprised Jamie and J.R. with milk and cookies, and J.R. delighted in having his mother back. He worried about his mom leaving, but Dixie assured him that he would always have her.
pika- 02-05-2007
Friday, January 19, 2007GET MY DRIFT?
Adam caught J.R. going through Krystal’s purse, and didn’t believe his son’s claim of looking for her cell phone to find a phone number. As he asked what he was really looking for, Dixie came in and quickly diverted J.R.’s attention by asking for advice on the houses she had looked at. Alone with his mom, J.R. said he believed Colby that Krystal had some kind of secret. If she wasn’t going to share, he’d have to find out for himself. Dixie insisted she wasn’t protecting Krystal, and J.R. wondered if she was protecting Tad? He realized that she was freaking out about this secret, and asked if it was going to hurt Tad? Dixie said no, she actually thought what Krystal knew could help Tad tremendously, but he didn’t know anything about it.
J.R. urged her to let him help her, and worried if it wasn’t Tad that could be hurt, was it his father? Dixie told him she wanted to make this decision on her own, and needed him to give her the time to do that. J.R. promised he wouldn’t say anything until she said otherwise. Adam returned, and asked again what J.R. was looking for in Krystal's purse? J.R. “admitted” he’d been hoping to find some kind of proof about Babe having an affair. Adam asked about the whole Zarf episode; when J.R. filled him in, Adam said that was grounds enough to give him full custody. J.R. reminded him the guy hadn’t been convicted yet, “I, on the other hand, did try to kill Babe.” Adam shrugged it off, calling it easily explained as an accident. Put this guy Zarf on the stand in a dress—get his drift? When J.R. complained that he couldn’t do anything from this chair, Adam said he had Jenkins, and he’d take him anywhere he wanted to go.
SUCK IT UP?
At the police station, Derek insisted that Adler was. As Jack assured the Chief that he wanted this case solid and fast, Erica came in with Jeff and declared she certainly hoped so, “Otherwise, my daughters could be next!” Jack warned her that wasn’t the place to air their personal problems, but Erica insisted she was there out of fear for her daughters.
Tad warned Jeff that he and Erica there were the last thing Jack needed, but Jeff reminded him that Jack signed the divorce papers, “Let him suck it up and deal with it.” Tad thought this town had enough trouble right now without him and Erica coming in to harass Jack. He warned Jeff not to write Erica and Jack off yet, but Jeff didn’t have any doubt that he knew what he was doing.
I’M ABOUT TO DIE
Kendall thought the delivery of gardenias showed who they were meant for and said it was pretty obvious, she was about to die. She insisted they not close Fusion, and was taken aback when Ryan mentioned Kenny Adler as a possible suspect. When Ryan couldn’t reach Zach on his cell phone, Kendall declared he didn’t get a vote in closing Fusion. Bianca and Josh also urged their sister to leave, but Kendall vowed to stay and try to save her company. She was pleased when Babe said she was staying with her. When Kendall went up to the roof, Josh admitted to Babe that he believed Zoe.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?
At the warehouse, Zach looked at his mother’s portrait, her face replaced by Kendall’s likeness. He reached out to touch it and sighed, “He was here.” As he wondered what the killer wanted from him, he looked up but didn’t see the camera in a ceiling vent. A gloved hand adjusted a monitor; someone watched Zach’s every move.
Zach found several love letters written to his mother by someone with the initial “R”. As he bent to pick up the other letters, the door to the room slammed shut and he was locked in. He pounded on the door and shouted that he didn’t do it, “And you can’t take Kendall!
NO BETTER PERSON FOR THIS JOB
Despite their differences, Erica admitted she was very glad and relieved that Jack was heading this task force. Jack wanted her to convince her daughters to leave Fusion, but Erica didn’t think she could do that. After she and Jeff left, Jack wondered, “How is it that you can be tried and convicted in someone's mind and have no idea what the hell you've done?” Tad was surprised when he looked up to see Jenkins push J.R. in his wheelchair into the station.
YOU JUST PROVED MY POINT
As Kendall leaned over the edge of the roof, Ryan jumped her to make his point is that wasn’t safe. Did she have any idea how lucky she was to be alive? Kendall refused to leave, saying she had faith in Zach, and running would give the message that she’d lost her faith in him.
AND YOU WERE RIGHT
Babe was pleased that Josh understood her caring for and believing in Zoe. Magie refused to leave Bianca, and was given copies to make to help out. Erica came into Fusion to find Babe and Josh, Bianca and Maggie engrossed in their work. They all lookedup when she demanded, “Well, doesn't anyone know how to break up and make it stick?”
YOU CAN LEAVE NOW
Kendall told Ryan she came up here to clear her head, and he’d only made it hurt. Now, he could leave. Calling her unbelievable, Ryan left. As Kendall looked out over the city, someone watched through binoculars.

Monday, January 22, 2007GET HER OUT RIGHT NOW!
Kendall told Ryan he could leave now; calling her unbelievable, Ryan left the roof. As Kendall declared aloud that she wasn’t afraid and wasn’t going anywhere, someone watched through binoculars. He loaded a rifle with a killer dart; he raised it and watched Kendall through the sights of the gun. Ryan returned, saying he couldn’t leave her alone up there. When the killer lowered the rifle and made a noise, Ryan heard and shouted for the guards to get Kendall out of there! He took off after the killer and Kendall shouted for him to wait!
A MATTER OF TIME
J.R. showed up at the police station demanding to see the perv who murdered those women; he was surprised when Tad said he didn’t think Zoe was putting on an act.
Jack said they didn’t have any evidence on Zarf, but Derek was determined to find some reason to hold him—he wasn’t about to let that murderer walk out of there! J.R. wanted some face time with Zarf to make sure his wife was safe; Derek allowed the visit in the hopes that Zarf would say something incriminating that they’d catch on tape before his lawyer arrived. Tad got a call from Aidan, and said he’d be right there.
JUST FIND HIM!
Erica wasn’t pleased to find Maggie and Bianca and Josh and Babe working together at Fusion, and lashed out at the two tramps, Maggie and Babe. She reminded Babe that she’d said she wanted Josh out of her life so she could take care of J.R., so why was she there trying to get back into her son’s bed instead of home tending to her beloved husband? As Josh and Bianca urged their mother to stay out of it, Kendall came in and told them Ryan had gone after someone he’d seen moving on the roof. Kendall ordered the bodyguards to find Ryan. Derek arrived with Jack; as he called for more backup, Ryan came in, unharmed but out of breath. Derek asked about the guy he was chasing, and Ryan said he lost him.
LET ME OUT!
As Zach pounded on the door, he saw a note slipped under the door, “She’s dead”. He flashed back to himself as a young child, pounding on a door and crying, “Let me out! Mommy! I want my mommy! Let me out!” Finding a shotgun, he fired at the door, to no avail. He used gunpowder from a shell to rig a fuse and blow the lock.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE THE STRENGTH?
At the hospital, Tad thought using Livia as bait was a hell of a long shot, but told Aidan to nail the son of a bitch. Julia told Tad that Linda died just a few minutes ago, and worried how she’d find the words to tell Kathy. She was grateful when Tad offered to go with her.
CONVINCE ME
J.R. asked Zoe what the deal was between her and Babe, saying he loved his wife and wanted to protect her. When Zoe’s back was turned, J.R. turned on a small tape recorder. Zoe wondered how he’d protect Babe from her; J.R advised, “Convince me that she doesn't need protecting.”
LIVES ARE ON THE LINE!
Kendall thought Ryan was trying to bully her into leaving, but he insisted he’d seen someone on the roof. Erica offered the use of her “New Beginnings” office for Fusion, as well as covering whatever financial problems Fusion had. Kendall agreed, she would walk away from Fusion, temporarily. Zach stepped off the elevator, and held Kendall tightly. Ryan fired questions at him—lives were on the line here! Zach told them he was in the warehouse and couldn’t get out. Someone locked him in; he didn’t see who it was. He was upset that Ryan had seen someone on the roof.
When Babe got ready to leave, Josh insisted on walking her to her car. Maggie insisted on going with Bianca. Erica expressed her confidence in Jack, who walked her out.
HEAVEN’S A BEAUTIFUL PLACE
At the boathouse, Jamie and Jonathan taught Kathy how to skate; Jonathan admitted to Amanda it had felt good to laugh and have a little fun. Tad helped Julia break the news to Kathy that her mommy had died and joined her daddy in Heaven, but assured the little girl that she would always have a home with her Aunt Julia, and would be very much loved.
IT’S A GIFT
“I'm not planning on killing your wife,” Zoe told J.R., and spoke of what a gift it was to have Babe in her life. As J.R. started to leave, Babe came in and asked why he was there talking to Zoe?
LIKE NOTHING BAD COULD TOUCH US HERE
As they walked into the boathouse, Bianca said she didn’t know why she let her talk her into coming here. “You know why,” Maggie smiled. This was where they came when they needed to get away, to talk to, to vent, to just be. She always felt like nothing bad could touch them here. They heard shouting, and went to find Bianca’s bodyguard holding Jonathan, who was shouting to get his hands off him—he came back to get his gloves!
I THINK I CAN HELP YOU OUT WITH THAT
When Zach remained silent about finding anything at the warehouse, Ryan told Josh he was stonewalling again. Slater knew something and he wasn’t giving it up. Josh thought he could help him out with that.
Back at the warehouse, someone shot the poison dart into the neck on the portrait.

Tuesday, January 23, 2007A COMPLICATED MAN
J.R. denied harassing Zoe, insisting he knew Babe was in it for the long haul with her, and wanting to see for himself that Zoe wasn’t a threat to their son. He left, and Babe told Zoe what J.R. had done was big, trying to see her for the woman she knew. When Zoe joyfully said Bianca believed she was innocent, Babe agreed she knew it would just take some time. She asked, girlfriend to girlfriend, what went down with J.R.? Zoe admitted she did see something appealing in him, but she had no idea of his reasons for coming there. Babe thought J.R. was a complicated man who did things for his own reasons. Maybe this was just him trying to have an open mind. She predicted a lot of happiness ahead for her girlfriend. When Zoe said she wanted her to find happiness, too, Babe insisted her happiness was with her husband, “My destiny is J.R.”
Jack urged Derek to keep an open mind about this Fusion killer. If Ryan and Zach were right about what had happened today, then this rock star was just not a suspect. J.R. returned and thanked the Chief for letting him see Zarf, but claimed he got nothing out of him, or her. He was surprised about the article in the paper saying that Dani could ID the killer, but Derek assured him that his daughter was in good hands. Zoe’s attorney arrived and demanded the release of his client, the artist formerly known as Zarf, as they had no evidence. Derek insisted his men were all over this. They had new information coming in all the time.
MEMORIES LIKE THAT DON’T GO AWAY
Jonathan apologized for the pain he’d caused her, but Maggie was still upset at seeing him. After he left, Bianca asked if she was okay? Maggie agreed she was, “Because of you.” Bianca knew memories like that didn’t go away, but stopped Maggie when she spoke of how much she owed her. She asked if that was why she’d come, out of gratitude, but Maggie insisted she loved her. She recalled when they were best friends, and said she regretted throwing away not only her lover but also her best friend. She asked how Bianca could even hang out with Babe? She took her child and they were still friends! Bianca cried as she said Maggie couldn’t use Babe’s mistakes to excuse her own. Maggie realized that might be what she was doing, and left the boathouse.
I COULD LOSE A LOT MORE
“You sure you're up for this?” Ryan asked. He warned he could lose his medical license, but Josh thought he could lose a lot more if he did nothing.
SOME KIND OF CLUE?
A guard stood outside the hospital room, a chart on the wall identifying the patient as Danielle Frye. Inside, Aidan told Di and Livia that the killer wouldn’t come until visiting hours were over and no one around. That's when he would make his move. Di asked about Dani’s recollection of a bird swooping down on her after the attack; Aidan thought it could be some kind of clue they hadn’t figured out yet. Later, when the guard went to get a coffee refill, Aidan covered Livia up so only the top of her head showed beneath the covers. As he hid in the darkened room, an unseen man approached carrying a bag; he checked the chart and saw it was Dani’s room.
HE KNEW I WOULD COME
Kendall reassured Zach that nothing would happen to her, and agreed to stay at the casino where she would be better protected. She asked about the storage facility; she guessed he’d found something and it wasn’t good. As Kendall read the love letters he’d found, Ryan arrived and surprised Kendall with a visit from Spike, who was upstairs with Annie. Alone with Ryan, Zach asked why he was really here? Ryan asked what he found in the warehouse that he didn’t want his wife to know about? Zach told him about the love letters and the note from the killer, but Ryan knew he was holding something back. Josh arrived under the guise of seeing Ryan, but injected Zach with truth serum. Zach told them to go to Hell and started out, but didn’t get more than a couple of steps.
A DEVIANT IS STILL A DEVIANT
When J.R. got home, Adam asked if he’d gotten what he needed? J.R. played the tape for him, Zoe’s voice agreeing Babe took some big risks for her, put herself on the line and took chances others would never dream of. Adam hoped Babe’s "new best friend" was a serial killer—that should get him one step closer to full custody. J.R. agreed, but what if this he/she is innocent? Adam said a deviant was still a deviant. They’d get a red-blooded family values-type judge, then trot out Babe inflicting her gender-bending she-male on her innocent son. What kind of influence was that for a little boy? Babe came home and apologized to J.R. for doubting his motives in going to see Zoe. He was really trying, with this and giving their marriage another chance. She just knew they were going to be fine. J.R. looked pensive as she left the room.
WHY, EXACTLY, DO YOU CARE?
Kendall was overjoyed at seeing her son, and wondered if she could ask Annie a personal question—how did she explain it to Emma, “The whole you and Ryan living together thing?” Annie said they weren’t living together. They shared an apartment, “Big difference.” Was she asking if she and Ryan were sleeping together? They weren’t, “But why, exactly, do you care?” Rachel brought Emma back from the game room, and Emma asked Kendall, “Can Spike please be my baby brother?”
IT WAS KENDALL’S FACE
Josh was taken aback when Zach, under the influence of the truth serum, said he hadn’t buried Greg Madden. Zach told them about finding the portrait at the warehouse, a picture of his mother with a white ribbon and a gardenia, but it wasn’t her face, “It was Kendall’s face.” He flashed back to that terrible day of his childhood, and Ryan urged him to tell him what he was remembering, “Help me protect my son. You care about my child. I know you do.” Josh looked at Ryan when Zach agreed, “I care about both of your children.”

Wednesday, January 24, 2007PERFECT MATCH
Josh tried to get him back on track, but Ryan asked, “Who are both my children, Zach? Spike and who else?” Zach told him, “Emma.” Ryan worried that if Zach thought Emma was his, too, then this drug was not working. Was it possible that the dosage was off or something? He turned back to Zach and asked why he thought Emma was his? “Because Kendall told me she is,” Zach replied. He was Emma’s biological father, and Kendall knew because she had Josh run tests, “Perfect match.”
MY WILL, MY CHOICE
Babe told Krystal she needed a lawyer to make a will. The threat to her life was real, and she needed to be thinking of Little Adam. If anything were to happen to her, she wanted her mama to be Little A’s legal guardian.
Krystal didn’t think J.R. was going to take too kindly to this decision. Babe replied, “My will, my choice.” If she died, she didn’t know how J.R. would react. This was all about protecting Little A’s future, and it was very important to her that he grows up as much a Carey as a Chandler. Krystal thought she should take J.R. and Little Adam and get the hell out of Dodge until this Satin Slayer was on Death Row. Babe said she promised she would stand by her partners in Fusion, and that means staying here and taking her chances. Krystal sighed there were rare moments when she wished she was more like her father, completely selfish and only concerned about herself, but agreed she’d make it official if that would help Babe sleep a little better.
NOW WHO’S DRUNK?
As J.R. tried to get around the living room with a cane, Bianca arrived to see him. He took the chance to apologize to her, and wanted to do something for her; in his program it was called “making amends”. Bianca asked, “Tell me how you learn to forgive.” J.R. said she wants to learn forgiveness, and she came to him? “Now who’s drunk?” Bianca said she was desperate, and told him about her dilemma with Maggie before realizing he hadn’t forgiven Babe. J.R. asked if Babe and Josh were really over or was he just being scammed? Hearing about Kendall’s visit, Bianca pointed out that Josh wouldn’t need Kendall’s help to get Babe if he already had her. Both pondered the options of losing someone they loved, or opening themselves up to more hurt.
Babe came downstairs and told J.R. she just wanted to say good night. J.R. asked, “Why don't you come over here and tell me?” Babe went to him, and they shared a kiss.
WHY AM I NOT SURPRISED?
The man bringing flowers to “Dani” turned out to be Kenny Adler; Jack asked why he wasn’t surprised? Jonathan came to the door and attacked the man he believed killed his sister; Jack pulled him off, and insisted he was going to do everything he had to do to keep Jon from going down the dark path to revenge.
THAT’S PERSONAL
Tad and Jamie went to the warehouse, and found the portrait with the dart in the neck. Tad admitted he didn’t think Zoe was the killer, and called the crime very personal. As they discussed who was likely to be the next victim, they heard a noise. Going into another room, they found evidence the killer had been there, along with a note, “Next time.” Jamie wondered if this was a way of paying back Zach, why kill every woman at Fusion except for Babe? Who would do that? Tad suggested, “Her father.”
I AM ON TO YOU!
When Emma said she wanted Spike to be her brother and Ryan to be her daddy, Kendall accused Annie of using a 4-year-old to help her snag a man. Annie kept her cool and explained that Emma loved Spike and Ryan, but wasn’t trying to break up her family. When Kendall wondered about “the thing” between her and Ryan, Annie asked what the hell it was to her? She was on to her, and knew she was using Spike to keep Ryan under her thumb. She didn’t want him, but didn’t want anyone else to have him either. Kendall admitted she might be right, and was sorry. She asked if Annie would mind waiting there? She had something to do, but wanted more time with Spike and would be right back. Annie told Emma that Spike and Ryan were just their friends, and Spike belonged to Kendall. Emma wondered if Ryan belonged to Kendall, too? Annie smiled as she said no.
YOU HAVE MY WORD ON THAT
Jack told Jonathan he’d felt the same anger toward him after he kidnapped his daughters and held them in a cave, but he’d kept that anger too long, stayed on that path too long, and the outcome was that Jonathan lost Lily and he hurt a lot of people. He would put a cop on him 24/7, tie him to a chair in his living room if that's what he had to do, but he would not let him go back to that dark part of him ever again. Jack got a call from Tad about the killer’s latest message. Derek let Kenny go, but Jonathan agreed to let Jack handle it, and they shook hands. Livia left to join Tom, Dani and Mimi in Hawaii, and Jack got the news that Zoe had been released.
I HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!
As Zach applauded Josh being busted, Kendall came in and wanted to talk to Ryan about the kids; he agreed he was thinking the same thing. She was stunned to learn that Josh and Ryan had drugged Zach, and that he had told Ryan the truth about Emma. Ryan asked Zach is he thought it was right for Kendall to keep his child from him? Kendall was dismayed when Zach said no, he told Kendall she was wrong. Kendall tried her best to wiggle out of it, but Ryan insisted he had to know the truth! Kendall admitted it was true, “Emma is yours.”
